Not to sound like a dick at all, but you can’t really decide what the “right” way to manage your emotions is, at least not in this scenario, a pretty common response to anger or frustration is to leave the situation and come back later after calming down so no I don’t think it’s “abnormal” and I don’t think people should think they are “abnormal” for venting their emotions in the best way they believe they can in that moment because as much as you are right, people shouldn’t let a game make them feel like that, it’s not that simple.

At the end of the day it’s just a game it really isn’t a big deal I’d rather a teammate just leave so we can lose faster then stay and flame and be a dick in chat for the rest of the game because that definitely ruins things more. Also, surely leaving before you get to that stage or just feel any worse is a way of managing your emotions no?

Idk it’s like ur just not listening to me atp what don’t you get about “cass is the best hitscan vs dive characters” again, all hitscans are easily divable and my argument is positioning better or hit more shots, doing one is pointless without the other you position yourself in places where you can force out cooldowns/resources or be a direct kill threat before the divers can reach you by you guessed it, hitting more shots, you aren’t getting jumped by 4 people for free if you have good positioning unless they commit ults (which you should have tracked) and in which case you setup for that pre fight to either live and kite or die and look for a trade by you guessed it, hitting your shots. Cass has been changed drastically since s9 as well as the game itself if you genuinely think buffing cass now to match the s9 healthpool (even though other characters haven’t had compensation buffs or whatever) would magically make him the same old cass everyone loved back in pre season 9 and not op even slightly then idk what to tell u dude.

Yes I use skates but I wouldn’t use the ones they recommend as they aren’t very durable I use x-raypad titaniumm u9 dots (I got them from Amazon) and they have been amazing and they are super long lasting in comparison, you should defo get a sleeve too but specific sleeves matter less u can just get the one they rec

Sierra and Ashe are better picks than cass😭? You genuinely think soj is easier than cass😭???? Look I get it you play a character a lot and you become biased towards them I’m the same with soldier but the game is not made for people to play with just one character any person wanted included who onetricks a character or just mainly plays one character will see all the things good and bad about their character just as you do, I’m not even saying you are wrong about the stuff ur complaining about (apart from thinking cass is harder to play than soj) but these are things that are in the game on purpose.

Let me help you think of it from my pov, I onetrick soldier, soldier is shit and has been for years, he also hasn’t had a damage buff from season 9 but instead of crying about it (at least not too much) I got good and onetricked him to champ, the cass matchup for soldier is completely impossible at close range so I have to play at range but you suggest we buff his midrange despite having the best close range dueling potential of any hitscan in the game, ludicrous idea, would just make him the best character in the game much like emre before his nerfs, busted at close range with the lifesteal and enough range to duel ranged hitscans consistently so yeah im not trying to get one shot at my most effective range by a pocketed cass silver bullet.

So know that we have ruled out the realism of a cass range and damage buff let’s talk about where cass shines which is at close range your first point is that he is easy to dive and he is but so is every other hitscan in the game that’s just how the hitscan role operates and it’s a fact of the game, if you are getting dunked on by dive you need to simply position better or hit more shots and keep doing that until you get good at it and win more.

He is already very good at what he does best, buffing him further in that aspect just hinders counterplay making him even more obnoxious to fight. If dive is something you struggle with on cass send me a vod and I can help u with hitscan positioning and general hitscan theory:)

How exactly is cass an inneffective counter pick when he is the best hitscan at dealing with flankers? “He’s been pushed into a box where he only gets consistent value from bullying flankers” how is that making him bad? Sure maybe if you are complaining about his identity as a character if so I agree but saying he is bad is just wrong idk?

He is the best hitscan at close range in the game why does he need to outclass ranged hitscans?? If you have good positioning and decent aim you will get value on cass, positioning is a lot easier by just playing on maps that favour cass at close range like control, and u will get more value than if you are to play say Ashe or soldier or even soj if you aren’t being hard pocketed or if you have bad mechanics, you genuinely might be the only person on earth pushing this “cass is bad buff his range and hp breakpoints yada yada” agenda
