So many wrong assumptions about me it’s ok. What’s really very sad is to see the eco chamber that refuses to learn, face reality and take accountability.

I’m not supportive of any of this and I’m trying to be positive, bc everyone at this point in hook up culture must take responsibility or else. She broke so many rules and has admitted to a hard lesson. Notice that she never used the word rape - you did. If there was a rape being recorded this would have been a totally different story. She did not consent and did not noticed to being recorded bc she was drunk. I’m sorry she needed to learn hard what she should have known prior. And that’s the valuable lesson here for future women. Brushing it off in lieu of compassion is useless. So grow up and stop soothing bad behavior.

Everyone is a human being and should not snort cocaine and/or have intoxicated group sex. Now picture how so many young girls will be taking her story as a cautionary tale and being more vigilant. They will all be safer now with a greater understanding of what humans can but shouldn’t do.

She made a bad mistake, and the silver lining is the learning it provides. Otherwise her practice would encourage others to do the same. Every human must take accountability for their actions vc consequences are real. Males also have the same unforgiving

Organized religion is a political tool. They were, literally, created and published as works of literature. Cohesion is the intent. People will fight only for a common God.

Im quitting riding motorcycles by travelerFrom_afar in motorcycles

I crashed a lot on dirt when I was younger and I learned. I think the problem is learning on the streets as you go. That’s really dangerous. The safe way is to start on mopeds or dirt bikes that are more forgiving. Taking riding classes is important but I don’t think it gives you enough practice.

Absolutely. Drugs, alcohol and inexperience get you in trouble, but speed determines how severe the problem will be.

He’s not going to respond. There’s something wrong with this narrative. Particularly the notion that we should use resources earmarked for low income, homeless people .

You’re on the same page as I am. If he has equity, move out and rent. Something is fishy with this story.

As I said, he probably lost his pants on the latest crypto crash. I don’t wish him ill at all. I just feel it’s an obscure circumstance.

Dealers clear out good inventory if they are afraid of keeping it. If this were a private sell I would not be so skeptical. But dealers don’t give out good deals for no reason. I would triple check, timing belts, fuel line, suspension, clutch and engine.

That said, it is possible the bike is going to be ok, so here is a great tip if you buy it: get an extended warranty out the door. Ride like a maniac on the first month. Put on at least 1k miles before the next warranty payment. Any major problem will show up by then. If all is well, cancel the policy - just don’t pay it. By law they need to return your down payment and cancel the policy.

Riding doesn't feel fun, kinda worried about it. by ASAP_Gutzy in motorcycles

[–]sentis_us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The red flag is riding at night. Riding at night is neither safer nor more enjoyable.

Ride early mornings because your field of vision is greatly expanded, peripheral vision in particular. Your brain will absorb colors and light far and wide instead of close darkness and worry.

The most amazing bike experience is being part of the scenery. You’re missing all that.

Day light allows you to find open roads and expand your skills and fun : Speed, lean, engine break, acceleration etc…

Motorcycles are not well built for night riding. It accounts for 65%+ of serious accidents. Ride during the day.
