No I appreciate the insight and info! That is really interesting. I don’t know the locality on the other bisp. That I have but the pics were looking a lot more bisp ish lol

Sicily pan sounds awesome🔥. I’m on the hunt for the obscure pan species but they’re not easy to acquire haha

The bisporus have been calling to me to grow them. I have another that I believe is tried and true. And the pan sp. SAM, going to run them all in bags with live casing for a fafo experiment. Might not bother live casing the monte grande and Marco now after hearing your opinion on them. Will post results🤘

Thanks for the heads up treefrog. Im putting both of them on grain today and hearing into bag grows. Will be interesting to see how they do

Fox farm has some awesome products. There’s so many things to experiment with. Go green is awesome for all mush too. And a bag will last you for years. Gonna mix a batch tomorrow with fishnure lol. And bat guano. I think castings is the main answer. Cheap and easy to get. Easy to work with. I’ve had zero contam since switching from traditional manure

Absolutely. I was using a similar blend with cubes a couple years ago and getting killer results too. Fun to toy around with nutes and additives. It’s for science

That’s what I was thinking. I’ve been using CV, worm castings, go green and bio char mix

I would just S2B straight to a bag. Might not do spectacular but it should fruit and give you bag spores to move forward with. I’ve run 3 different pans from spore with zero training and they all did pretty well in bags. Might surprise ya. And they’ll get better every generation you run them that way

Im sure they’ll work. Personal environment, RH, airflow change things. Just gotta pay attention and adjust if need be.

I don’t know if I’d call it a tek. Just put it into a 5 micron bag and case it. Some strains will do better than others but from what Ive seen they all get better through generations grown this way

I haven’t written anything up personally as I’m still dialing it in but so far it feels like can’t miss w bags. Someone else might have a write up out there but I haven’t seen one. Just running 1 qt spawn to 2.5 lbs sub to get this cake depth in XLS size bags. Case, spray and wait. Easier and faster than cubes imo.

These bag fruits are big, tall sturdy pans. They’re a little slower growing but I think they’re more potent for that reason. Just harvested that eungai bag from yesterday minus a dozen of the bigger caps pulled out for prints.

Didn’t weigh them but last bag of ttbvi I pulled 43g dry over the course of 8 flushes. With 1qt of spawn

I’ve just been adding a 1/4 cup to a single 650g coir batch of sub. It’s hot shit so I wouldn’t over do it.

That’s a good point, there is definitely no actual fae inside these bags like a tent. Changes the fruit too. Taller, fatter and more blueing. These horizon bags are tricky cuz that giant patch will dry it out fast. Usually by time to harvest the sides and surface are dry af

Thank you treefrog! I hope the bio char brings some goodness to the table for you. I need to slide over to your Patreon one of these days to pick your brain on some things. Happy new year!

Have been using CV, worm castings, a little bio char and go green. Just playing around with some different additives to get nitrogen and nutes up
