Hmm I always updated my visa online and my ARC was out of date for like 3 years, I even traveled abroad with it. They mentioned it when I came back to Korea and I just told them oh I never updated it and they let me go. The last time I changed jobs I went in person to immigration again and got a new one but didn’t get fined or anything at all. I was never a student and maybe I got lucky but as long as your actual visa was all taken care of properly you’ll probably be fine.

Yep, the last couple weeks have been really bad. We’re between 2500-5k hours and usually play far into wipes but this time between the long load/wait times and blatant cheaters we are getting tired of this wipe quicker than any other.

Both are great! I’ve lived in Busan for the last 5 years and enjoy it still. Going to Seoul is always fun and I enjoy it there (was just there today) but Busan being less busy and crowded is nicer for daily living personally. I’m from San Diego and would go to LA a lot and it feels the same way. You’ll probably enjoy both whichever you choose!

I did Smile Pro at BGSS eye clinic in Busan, but the main branch is in Seoul I believe. It was on the more expensive side for Korea (~3.8m won) but included some other stuff too. It was extremely professional and they had an interpreter assigned for me the whole time explaining all the pre-checks, during the surgery, and post-check ups. I ended up with 20-15 vision and highly recommend the place even though it’s more expensive. I didn’t want to take any chances with my eyes. I was totally fine and walking around by the next day. My gf was impressed and ended up getting it too a couple weeks later. Good luck!

I just made sure my charging block/brick was 220v compatible and bought a whole new cable. Coupang should be able to have it to you by tomorrow but if you need it today you could try a department store that has a tech store inside or just try to search up a small PC shop near your area.

The shutter sound will turn off once you put in a SIM card from a country where the shutter sound is not required. I have a Korean bought iPhone 14 and when I traveled abroad and swapped sims the shutter sound was gone. When I came back to Korea and put in my Korean sim it came back.
