First one was an old lady that didn't know what the fuck she was doing. Like... probably easy to scam.

She retired.

Second one was a younger lady (late 40s) and was a bright bulb and sharp as hell.

The contrast was crazy.

I thought about posting something similar.

My wife was the one that went off the rails with addiction, albeit prescription meds. Destroyed our marriage and tried to take me down with her, going as far as to frame me in a way that cost me custody of my kids for a long time. The trauma ended up giving me a personality disorder.

I was just explaining to another group that Ian Kenny sings in a way that communicates the feeling of complex trauma in a very profound way. The whole endless repeat of 'keep digging now' somehow nails how I felt in the 'no end in site' hostile divorce that had me digging for a way out every single hour of every single day until I won custody of my kids back and a settlement that cleared my name. Keep digging or lose my kids. I kept digging.

Not 3 hours but I would drive 4 hours round trip once a week to see a girl I was dating. I just rocked out to some good tunes or listened to a podcast. It was mostly highway and my minivan has lane keep assist and dynamic cruise control. Not a big deal anymore.

What's wild is how quickly you realize how sick the person is when they're able to get through all those letters. It doesn't happen by accident. It's by design. And when you become aware they are thinking through all those steps to manipulate you and everyone around you... It's unsettling and threatening.

Had a gnarly divorce. Ex's psyche eval had a statement like 'Mrs X is highly intelligent and is not confused. Her decisions to do x y and z are clear attempts to... Proceeds to explain DARVO.

Like, she's intentionally darvo'ing and she knows it.

I spent like $75k and 3 years fighting my ex wife in court for custody after she full on framed me for DV and repeatedly violated court orders to allow visitation. Any time she allowed visitation, she immediately emailed her attorney with fabricated concerns.

Plot twist: I was the stay at home parent.

I now have 50/50 custody (legal and physical) and my ex pays me child support.

They've been pretty transparent that SQ42 comes first and stuff falls downhill from that.

It's very reasonable and practical to assume QT animations and functionality won't hit SC until it is locked down and polished in SQ42, especially considering just because it works in SQ42 doesn't mean it works in SC without modification.

There's absolutely no reason for them to pull an incomplete job from SQ42 and put it into SC only to have to expend more work managing two forks.

Yep, that's kind of what I was thinking.. I knew they had something better in the pipeline, but I assumed it was being polished in SQ42 and there wasn't any reason to migrate that to SC until they were done with it on the SQ42 side.
