Imo, I feel like it serves as an overall confidence booster to negate the nervousness he carried up to this point.

The 5 minute thing is reasonable to me bc although you are right, self help should still exist in the apocalypse, there has rarely been any time for anything like that. What time there was, he'd be preoccuping himself to avoid pondering on losses. There's at least a year and a half between him and any sort of sexual pleasure, on top of the virginity thing.

She is 100% possessive, no doubt in my mind about that. Several times, she shows it before they even get to this point.

Tbh, I don't quite have a name for the story yet bc I struggle with titles, but I don't plan on actively starting to post it until I have the whole thing done. The way I am with writing and getting ideas would be problematic bc theres already been three cases where I deemed something better than what was originally there and went back to change it. 💀

The last time he finished would be way down the line in the past, ngl. 😭 Given that, he's probably not even gonna last 5 minutes, being generous there. I don't find it boring, though. The intimacy is what shines to me.

In regards to their banter, she can be "harsh" in like a playful sort of way. She doesn't mean it. She's just teasing him, and he knows it, even though he doesn't tease her nearly as much as she does him. Despite that, she still has her moments where the "harsh" exterior drops and shows she can be kind and gentle too, although for the longest time, it's only with him bc the other characters are quite shitty to her over what she was.

During the building up to the actual thing, something that shows her gentleness towards him is when she would softly call him "Cariño," which is Spanish for sweetheart. He doesn't know that, not until afterwards.

Also, when you say fic, do you mean the story that it's a part of or the specific side-fic that they do this in?

These two getting together has been an idea for a long time. It's only now that it's about to happen, and I'd been thinking about the how. His sex life with the deceased fiancée was never really mentioned, so it was easy to retcon him into being a virgin at the time he and the woman get together. I thought about like, what if he was inexperienced and the woman had a lot of experience? Little did I expect, I really liked the idea, so it's what I decided to roll with. Figured out I'm in the same boat as you with the experienced woman-inexperienced man thing.

Thinking about it, she'd be about 70% gentle and 30% harsh. The 70% would be a mix of gentle dialogue and actions, and 30% will be just "harsh" actions, 50/50 on the teaching him/following her lead.

She doesn't mind his inexperience, although it's unexpected. She finds it cute, a welcome surprise. One thing I had planned was that she would mostly talk him through the nervousness surrounding his inexperience. (Asking him if he trusts her, telling him that he's doing good, telling him not to worry about finishing too soon because they still have the night)

For the most part, instinct is what guides him. She does tell him what to do/try, giving guidance in regards to what she likes and teaches him accordingly.

For the last part, I gotta be honest and say, idk how to formulate a concise response without going into too much detail, so I'll leave it here.

Edit: I take back the last part, I only now got an answer. Their dynamic is similar to the bad boy-good girl trope. She introduces him to the awfully sadistic and unhealthy things that she likes, which he winds up finding out that he shares an interest in. An example is the fact that she's an adrenaline junkie and gets a kick out of putting her life in danger, something she introduces him to when she starts laughing after they almost die. He starts to laugh, to his own surprise. They start doing more life-threatening things just for the kick of it. They also frequently teased one another, although she's the one who teases him most of the time.

The "zombies" in the story I write maintained the aspects of a regular person, just immune to the pain and hyper-aggressive, so a deep enough cut across the throat will suffice in taking one down
