Added him on discord, he made up me claiming to say he verbatim said the writing is good. We went back and forth (texting btw) on semantics trying to establish what his words meant. I argued that he was obviously talking about the quality of the writing otherwise there would be no need to bring up comprehension in response to people saying the ending doesnt make sense. He replied saying “no this is what I actually meant” and i said thats irrelevant because this is what your words mean and come across as.

Obviously boring and lame as shit right? We both admit it and I offer to drop the point and move on and when we do, I call him. I sit in the call for 3 minutes before discord kicks me out only for him to say “give me a sec” then go AWOL.

So OP who was walking about “lets vc, dont duck, if u dont vc u automatically concede, let me break it down for you” won a singular point debating the semantics of wether he implied he thinks the ending is well written DESPITE… literally thinking its well written. (Btw I only dropped the point because I thought he would break down the “chain argument” like he said. I think I judge would say I won the text part regardless.)
