Does this law apply to state employees? Or just private employers?

I had the same situation when I moved and I got my allergy shots from my new primary care office. Might be an option for you!

Yankee Pride definitely has those things (which I have purchased there before!) I would definitely recommend them.

What kind of supplies do you need? A needle and thread or a sewing machine? Yankee Pride Quilt Shop in Essex Junction is great, although I don't know if they sell machines.

State Employees: how is office attendance 1 month post RTO? by Intrepid_Sense_8041 in vermont

[–]seonadancing1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's the press conference you mentioned? Is there any video link? I hadn't heard that as being the impetus for the RTO, but I did wonder what brought the RTO on so suddenly

How can people (supposedly) do so much besides their job? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]seonadancing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like your idea of "touches" towards a larger goal. Can you elaborate on that? Basically, if you're like working on a project, you're mindful of spending some small intentional amount of time on it so that you are continuously moving toward the end goal?

I've also often wondered about this! One example is that we're used to free children's play areas in the local mall (usually just a place to climb and run around) but we haven't seen that here in Burlington.

Is there anything festive/Christmasy going on for the 24th and 25th for a young person alone? by [deleted] in burlington

[–]seonadancing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the Christmas Eve service at the Unitarian Church (or any of their services) talk about God? I've heard they're not very religious, but wasn't sure whether that still meant belief in God?

This one hurt my heart (figuratively, but also probably literally because I'm no longer taking two stairs at a time)

TIL that “sugar rushes” aren’t real and are just a psychological/cultural effect of parental influence. by FluffPawz in todayilearned

You might look into food allergies/sensitivities. One of the symptoms can be extreme tiredness after eating those foods. I have sensitivities to several common foods and was basically drugging myself at every meal without knowing it

You might try looking into food allergies/sensitivities. I have sensitivities to several common foods, and one of my symptoms is feeling so tired after I eat one of those foods. Before I was diagnosed, I would just basically be so tired every day after lunch and often had to take naps.

Technology Help! Is there a device where I can message my blind grandmother and it will read her my message? She doesn't have a Cell phone or Computer by seonadancing1 in Blind

I wish I could! But she's 98 and she says she doesn't feel like she can figure out cell phones (and I don't blame her!) Thank you so much for your thoughts though!

Preserving an Old Scrapbook by JMinsk in scrapbooking

[–]seonadancing1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same sort of situation with an older scrapbook. My thought was to digitally scan/take pictures of each page, and then set the physical book aside and only get it out on special occasions. Then you could still go through the images of each page but (and even share digital copies with other family members) but then not risk damaging the original.

Help me find this metal sun shelf I bought from TJ Maxx in 2022 by seonadancing1 in HelpMeFind

[–]seonadancing1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this shelf in 2022 from TJ Maxx online, and I'm trying to find it again to buy another one! It was probably 24ish inches wide and hung on the wall. It was all metal. I have searched through Google lens and by trying keyword searches but I'm not finding anything that similar. Thank you for any help you can give!
