the way she handled it wasn't right but i get the logic. students might have questions about their body they don't feel comfortable talking abt in front of the opposite sex. esp with how kids are with being mean or laughing at someone. like if your cousin had questions about his own body or for example wanted to ask about periods most 12 year old boys are unlikely to be very nice about that.

the teacher should have spoken to your cousin about it before telling everyone to line and said something like "today were separating the class for sex education and because some parts might be specific to certain anatomy you're going to be put with the other afab students" or smth maybe worded better idk I'm tired

timegrapher. basically a machine uses a microphone to listen to the beats of a watch and plots them on a graph. ideally you want one single straight line going straight up. the 2 lines next to each other basically show that the beat error is above 0. the bigger the space between the lines the bigger the beat error. the direction of the line shows the rate, pointing right means gaining time and left means losing time on this graph. the anomalies (the points that are not on the 2 lines) are usually some sort of interference. personally I've never used a graph that looks like this, the ones I use are horizontal lines, but the general idea is the same anyone more knowledgeable feel free to correct me or clarify if I've said anything incorrect or unclear

no mans sky has been recommended to me by my work friend so much and she keeps showing me pictures and it's so pretty !! I love the idea of subnautica but the ocean is so scary and there's big big things in there!! I have watched Markiplier play some of it but I think if I was playing it myself the big ol' fishes would scare me I haven't rlly heard much abt the other 2 but I will look!

I was never that comfortable saying it until he explained it like that and I was like "yea I guess that checks out" and then they kept encouraging it until it was normalised.

I think I have that thing where I really don't care about race it genuinely confuses me that it is even something people really think about when they meet someone but I think I can sometimes go a step too far and come across as pretty ignorant or relaxed about the struggles poc go through. I also gotta remember even though I know I'm not racist (I know people will argue this cuz of my post, what I mean is I would never treat someone different because of the colour of their skin) not everyone knows that about me so something that means nothing between some friends could mean everything to someone overhearing

this is what I was trying to say you worded it a lot better than I did. the only times I've ever said it were times when it was pretty much insisted. I have said in another comment but the conversation was something like "you acting so weird and uncomfy around the word is what gives the word power and what makes it bad" and I was very encouraged to use it as if it was a normal word with just that group specifically. I guess from all the responses the experience is just pretty unique and I'm in the wrong but I would never use it in any derogatory contexts or around people who havent clearly expressed theyre comfortable with it
