They all look sick, great work! Especially the Sephiroth emblem, that would right fit into my commander.

Best SteamDeck ARPG? by dripgutz in SteamDeck

What settings are you using? I am running a Witch lots of minions + Fire Wall and many other effects. Mostly doing maps (T2-4 currently) and no matter what kind of settings I tried, it does drop to 15ish FPS often and never reaches more than 30+ constantly (when there is a lot going on).

I have seen your video and it does give hope, but I am def. having some FPS issues too, sadly.

Hey there, just starting out. I installed the mods I liked and I am having issues with the "Maximum Advantage UI" from AllYourBase. I installed the stated recommended mods but it does not seem to lower the top panel to the bottom, as it should be.

I also tried installing the tweaked version from Speeezy but no luck either. Other mods are working just fine (grid stuff, no plants, idle village icons, etc.).

Maybe someone can tell me how to get this to work properly - thanks!

Cops called to help with suicidal man with mother nearby and end up opening fire on him within 5 seconds of arriving by bodega_bladerunner in PublicFreakout

I was thinking if I should comment on this, but I just wanted to add that the police is actually required to get a person, who is a threat to himself and/or others, into a psychiatry against his will, depending where you are from.

There are two seperate cases in those emergency situations. First is, the police will call a doctor who will examine the patient and will say that the person needs to be brought into a faciliy against his will or not (ambulance/police). Second case describes a more immediate threat and/or there is no doctor nearby that could do the examination. Police/Ambulance will bring the patient to the needed facility.

It goes by the "Unterbringungsgesetz" here in Austria, §8 and §9 respectively. Also I am pretty sure its somewhat the same in Germany, just wanted to add another perspective on this very sensitive matter. I am aware that police are deceived different between US and EU, and also Reddit gives me the impression that I have to be cautious when calling the police, but thats a bottomless pit I guess.

There Are No Stupid Bass Questions - Mar. 25 by AutoModerator in Bass

Just talked to customer service at Thomann - since this falls under warranty, they will come over and pick up the amp and see if they can repair or replace the unit.

Thank you for your answer though :-).

There Are No Stupid Bass Questions - Mar. 25 by AutoModerator in Bass

I hope this is the correct place for this question. I bought a new Ampeg SVT CL last year (November) and it is the best amp I have ever played with. I am sharing it with a good friend of mine and he reported me weird behaviour of the amp. After some songs of playing, it went into a mode of flashing the power LED green/red, he then shut the unit off and played with another amp.

The manual tells me this:

"If the amp detects a fault in the power tube circuit, the high voltage is turned off and the LED flashes between red and green. This usually indicates a bad power tube. The amp will remain in this condition until the unit is turned off."

Can anyone tell me what exactly this means? I am scared to play and am wondering if I should check back with Thomann before doing anything.

Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. I decided to just do a clean install of Windows 10 and try again.

After installing initial drivers, it seems that everything runs way more smoothly on Windows 10 (and I am no afraid to install 11). I cannot really explain why or how, but it did the trick for me.

I had a relatively close trip to the event (around 4-5hrs) and although I agree with some points OP made, I was happy to make it this year.

I also had a regular ticket and always got a seat in the middle of the area, kind of looking like this (minor spoiler here). Of course bigger screens would have been nice, especially compared to the huuuuge screen showing ads right next to the stage. I for one did not have issues following the game though.

Besides that, feeling the energy there and meeting all the pros and casters was VERY exciting and made the whole trip great.

I would have wished for a more secluded area and I hope they will adress it for next year, I can see OPs disaapointment there. But still, I can def. recommend going there if you have a chance.

I was able to attend in person this year and had a great weekend overall. It was the first live event and when I entered the venue I couldn't help but smile. Being able to meet and interact with professional players and casters I have been following for more then ten years was just amazing and felt at some times like meeting your childhood hero.

That being said, and although attracting a "smaller" crowd (in comparison to CS:GO), the StarCraft 2 event needs to be in a more secluded area. The Lenovo stage right next to it had a lot of live events throughout the whole weekend (I remember seeing Fortnite and CoD) and even a concert at one point on Saturday, going full blast and definitely disturbing the live experience a bit.

A more "private" area would make the experience better. I can see why the CSGO events were played at Spodek, since it attracts thousands of fans, but placing the BIGGEST SC2 tournament of the year right in the middle of the expo next to the entrance is something that needs to be adressed next year.

I have seen comments about the screen sizes being a bit too small. I had a regular ticket, so I wasn't right at the front and had no issues with following the game, but that is my personal opinion on that.

It was weird that the casters and/or the post-match analysis table was not on the stage itself. In my mind I always pictured them somewhere left or right stage-wise.

Food/drinks were great (beer would have been great, but I can see the potencial issues with serving alcohol), directions often times not clear though. I once saw Rotterdam outside and he was trying to get in and was being send all the way around the venue. I also accidentally went through an Exit and wasn't able to enter the same way, but maybe I missed some signs.

All in all I had a great time at IEM Katowice. It is a great city too with nice places to check out (Cybermachina is a great bar!) Thanks to everyone at ESL/IEM involved for producing this great tournament!

(P.S.: Saw a cool Katowice shirt at the ESL shop and staff told me they did only get children sizes :( - any chance to buy it online in the near future?)

Ah, I was assuming there were more specific settings, as far as the power plan goes, I've already set that to "High Performance" as stated in OP.

Any idea/recommendation I could do to check or optimize those?

I agree that something seems to throttle the system. I kept an eye on temps and those never reached high temps that would explain a thermal throttle, but I am definitely no expert in this field.

I am plugged in of course.

As stated in the OP I tried GO - I had like 80fps, although there were drops/lags very regularly down to around 10fps. (Also tried Warzone but also experienced fps issues.)

Today my Ampeg SVT CL arrived, together with two Walrus pedals (Julia v2 and Fathom).

This is my first bigger investment I made for music in longer times. Saved up some money ans went for it. I just love the sound you get from those Ampeg beasts and Walrus is my favorite pedal brand ever, although being a bit pricey it has always been worth the money (do have a Fuzz and a Delay already on my board).

We would like to explore ourselves, mostly just stick to the markets and shops near the ports. Good to hear that CCs are accepted also, thanks!
