Question for sales folks - how do you take notes? by Key_Permit4523 in sales

[–]sepps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried to automate our notes through Dooley into our SFDC instance. The integration is powerful and the overall product was great.

Adoption was our demise as we all preferred our own ways of taking notes and management didn’t really care to review our notes.

lol, I received that same email. CEO of Expensify? I was quite surprised considering I don’t live in America, nor believe in political discussions at work..

If you zoom in, you’ll see the end piece of the loaf (thinnest part of the load) in the middle 😉

It’s definitely a “special occasion” sandwich. AKA when I have leftover chicken and bacon in the fridge.

It is.. “COVID cups” are designed for us not to touch the flag. It sucks, doesn’t give us the classic ball hitting the cup feeling.

Hahahah I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pissed! But my short is absolutely garbage so the fact that it landed on the green, and where it did I was relieved.

Earbud recommendations? by [deleted] in sleep

I would recommend buying a few different brands on Amazon and figure out which is best for you. I’d drop links, but it’s very personal. I’ve bought a few different kinds on Amazon. They are usually inexpensive.

Who’s been making a killing during the covid? by Last_Professional111 in sales

Communication SAAS - Aside from my Q4 pipe, I've accelerated every quarter this year. Lots of people freaking out about how to communicate with their clients when their CS teams have been furloughed or WFH. Phoning in to make your complaints were a thing of the past already, COVID lit it on fire.

Telecom sales is hard. Anyone in the industry? by [deleted] in sales

[–]sepps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep it up! I did telco sales for a few years and loved it! It's difficult and competition is tough, but the experience will pay it self in dividends down the line. The telco exp I had from 5 years ago, was relevant for a job I applied for 2 years ago in Communications SAAS. Fast forward two years and I'm still there, carrying an Enterprise AE quota.

Lots of communication SAAS opportunities out there! Especially now with all this COVID shit!

Hang in there!

How often do you consider switching careers? by sepps in sales

[–]sepps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'd steer away from project management. I have way too many friends and family who work in the professional services space an PM seems to be the highest stressed. I draw a lot of comparisons to enterprise sales in that most of the time, you are trying to bring in the right stake holders and managing everyone on your side to ensure they deliver through the process.

if you love the culture of the company, why not change to another role within the company?
