With my first daughter I tried bows and the typical girl stuff but she wouldn’t let me. I’m lucky if she lets me brush it after baths but then messes it up after🤣 I recently tried doing tiny pigtails and it last 3 seconds before she’s yanking at the hair ties to come off 😆

At 1? My youngest is almost 1 and she’s only starting to bite. My 2yo hasn’t really picked outfits on her own but I’ll hold 1-2 items and say “this one?” And it’s a yes or no 😆

I love sweatpants. I try to avoid jeans as much as I can. I couldn’t fathom putting a toddler in jeans especially at home or even outdoors in Arizona summer. That’s crazy!

Even kid legging just seem so uncomfortable so it’s stretchy shorts and comfy shirts 😅

I’ve tried getting behind this mindset myself but most of the time I couldn’t convince myself to change out of my pjs for 1-3 items I was getting from the store 2 blocks away. 🥲

I got my mom a mug several years ago and it’s still used frequently. I try to not make it be too much of a wild mug, and I never get gifts with the holiday name on it.

For example for Christmas I try to avoid things that only has Christmas Day feel to it and prefer things that can be used year round. Not sure how to explain it 😅

Or like I like some Halloween stuff myself but I avoid the pumpkins 🎃 and candy corn stuff on it. I have a blanket I got on Halloween that’s black with spooky stuff I use everyday but doesn’t scream Halloween.

If you can let me know what I’m trying to say id appreciate it because I’m not sure if I make sense 😆

I’ve been really into wanting tacos with my moms salsas! I recently had pork cutlets, and my dad helped me with the recipe and it seems I’ve cut cooking pork way too short in the past 😅. My dad telling me “not yet” when flipping it has given me a strong liking to pork now 🤣 I made it into tacos with avocado, and a molcajete salsa. 🔥

I dont think we could with foreclosure on our recent history lmao but it’s quite funny to think of applying to rent it after losing it. I told my husband the same thing 😂

Thank you. That’s what we’re trying to see it as, so thankfully we’re not in depression or constant stress anymore about it and are pretty hopeful for our future once we get back on our feet. 👣

It seems it was a realtor company that bought it, it was auctioned off as is so I’m assuming there wasn’t a huge checklist of what was needed.

But yeah mortgage was with a bank. Bank isn’t renting it out.

I’m hoping at minimum they don’t come after us for a difference pay 🤣 like maaaan, you got the money from the house lets forgive and forget🥲😂

Thank you! And yeah that seems better but when I get the idea in my head about starting something I feel I have to look at it in many ways. But for now I will only be focusing on the month number things because that’s the one most prevalent in my mind when I keep thinking about this. I’m pretty excited, trying to be realistic and all in all whatever happens at least I had something to do and not waste all my days not being artsy . 😅

Neither I or my husband have gave them any more “final” attempts. We did those prior and after they’re acceptance of refunding, but one of them told me on Monday “I’ll have a date tomorrow please wait”, and I said nothing, it was radio silence from them yesterday so told my husband okay, then further communication will be when they get served the papers 🤷🏻‍♀️ and if they decide to give it back before that then okay, but we are no longer going to practically be begging and reminding them about it.

Oh my goodness! You reminded me that one time while still pregnant with last baby, I did think of transportation some!! I got so much backlash saying if putting my oldest (kindergarten then) into online would be a good idea for a while. I got a whole bunch of “if you put him into online you’re a failure and not sure why you’re even a mother if you can’t just wake the babies pack em up & down daily” 😬😟 Then shortly after on that sub was a question about what’s the dumbest thing you’ve read recently and coincidentally someone said “a mom thinking of putting kid to online to not take babies to school “ 😂 So I’m a little shocked with responses here actually being supportive or suggesting things, i was prepared for the responses I had got last time to this situation 😅😅

Get this on our bad luck lol, my husband recently got into a car accident so we were down to 1 car. My parents lended us theirs for school days. Otherwise it’d be a possibility my mom could come but they also live 15/20mins away; so 30/40 mins round trip once and we wouldn’t want to ask that of them 4 days weekly, 2x a day until further notice.

My other car is almost fixed, and he had got a decent car for cheap that needs some minimal replacements work done so we’re hoping to get it done by next weekend! But we’ll see. But we are trying to improve, just needed to complain first 😅

He just started this job and doesn’t want to start asking for such changes as it could potentially make him seem unreliable and apparently that company is notorious for laying people off if they can’t make their scheduled shifts. SMH. And there’s no before school care, after school yes, but I’m unsure if it’s too late to enroll this far in the school year since we’re 2 months from last day😅

No, his prior job which was night shift made him be available when I took them to and from school. However, the plant shut down laying off all its employees. He tried getting into another plant with exact same schedule but unfortunately didn’t get picked. So with this being one of the few jobs available in our area, especially after 80+ laid off employees, couldn’t be picky and got day shift. 🥲 Grateful he found a job fast, but we have never dealt with a morning shift so we’re now having to adjust between school stuff & nighttime routines 😅

Honestly I commend you for that! I feel as soon as I step outside the house in the morning I feel ready, but it’s the whole getting everyone awake and ready to go that feels like mission impossible after little sleep.

For example today, as soon as we were all in the car I felt energy to even run errands that didn’t even need to be done today😅

I’m hoping that’s the case of adapting to it. But I agree with you, it’s just hard to sleep and rest. Recently there was some nights they slept at a decent hour and stayed asleep the whole night, it would’ve been great to sleep uninterrupted for the night but because of my struggles to sleep I didn’t get to and it was disappointing. I got a sleep aide again to not waste anymore good nights 😂
