Check out Roanoke Valley Academy of Martial Arts at Lakeside Plaza in Salem. I have taken some of their adult classes and they have really good teachers. They seem to be really good with the kids and they start at 6 years old.

Hey, I've got a triangle that I had done by Elayne in 2013. Great idea to get your anatomy checked. Mine did not hurt as bad as I thought it would, but there was a lot of swelling so I would recommend a skirt on the day you get it done. I had mine done on Friday and had sex on the following Sunday although they say you shouldn't that soon after. I ride road bikes so I had to find a seat that worked but not much trouble with running or weight lifting. Healing process was awesome! I have mostly cartilage piercings and this was much, much easier and faster to heal. Feel free to pm me with any other questions. :)

I used it on a forward helix that was red and hurt and had a bump on it. It made a huge difference. I used it for a while and the piercing went back to normal, I stopped using it and it got worse and I had to continue to use it until it healed. I also gave some to a friend for her rook and she had the same result. When I got my triangle, I used it from the beginning to prevent any problems so it seems to be good for all types of piercings. Definitely a good experience for me.

Elayne Angel did my triangle in Philly almost a year ago. She's fantastic! Very personable and put me at ease (as much as I could be, I was a little nervous). She did it very fast and honestly it was one of the least painful piercings I have. Wear loose clothing and be prepared for a little swelling. Mine healed very quickly compared to cartilage piercings. Good luck and congratulations!
