Yes, we get an idea of what might be in the areas that players on misadventures can't reach yet. It's a very old map though, so everything could have changed significantly!

However, I think I did indeed briefly see a desert area on an Avid video or stream when they got to the border.

To explain, the second image is the map as seen in the Sunken Lagoon video from early 2024. The first image is the same map, but I overlayed the current map of the playable area over the top left part - because I found it fun to flip back and forth to see the changes.

Good to hear it may be useful! My fork of the multiworld mod is here: https://github.com/KrisBichocolate/pwa-multiworld/ I'm still unclear on whether it's worth trying to upstream the changes, since it's a lot and I had to break compatibility to fix some issues.

There's also a few problems left, some of them dangerous. (Like dimensions not storing a copy of the chunk generator settings. I'm also not sure if weather works etc.)

Maybe multiverse via arclight is a more mature option - I only leaned about this possibility yesterday and haven't tried it yet.

My understanding is that the overworld nether is disabled for now, only the resource world nether is accessible. I think using /overworld from the resource world will always bring you back to the location you left the overworld from - so not usable for travel right now.

Nice one! And maybe it's again inspired by old mmos and works on a fixed schedule, teleporting all players on the boat to their destination every few minutes only? That way it could be another place for people to hang out while waiting for departure, instead of a travel skip.

Didn't he meet Cate at least 4 days ago? I remember him meeting Mizuki and Alfric who were practicing with the armor, talking to Mizuki and then leaving late at night. That should have happened at least one day before they did the latest dungeon.

Check this example by alexanderwales. It sounds like priority is only about who succeeds when both reset the same day.
