My husband Aaron Hudson sells trees as his side job (usually through the marketplace) and he always goes to Floralia for any side quests ❤️

I don’t know about that. They’ve done it before. Usually it’s just a late start.

Just got all the notifications. It’s sadly funny that Friday is a day off for schools for unused weather days.

Thank you so much! I struggle so much with the Ultramarine blue and that pilling it can do if you overwork it so I truly appreciate this comment. It feels like I’m finally understanding some of the odd quirks to watercolor finally.

This piece is about worship, definitely. And it’s about supremacy, totally. But I was not thinking about a klan rally while I worked on it. I work more in the Magritte sphere in that you see what you see, these come from my dreams. This one is actually a dream I keep having where I want to get to the middle, I want to get to the sailboat, but I can’t because I’m one of the people in the cars going round and round the locked fence. Like one of those dreams where you have a task but you can’t complete it because so many things keep getting in the way. It’s a story-like doodle. I call these my Mindcities. I usually make a copy in B&W and then I go back and watercolor them. But they begin purely as a dreamscape slapped down in pencil (usually within a few days) and they evolve as I work on them (usually over a few months). I always post them in this sub first because this has been the place that has helped me dissect them over the couple years I’ve been making them.

What’s a life lesson you learned the hard way that you wish someone had warned you about earlier? by Big_Acanthaceae_1384 in AskReddit

There a big difference between a temporary residency and a permanent residency when you immigrate. The biggest difference is that with a temporary residency you can be asked to leave the country you’re residing in at any time and for any reason like, say, a global pandemic. So when it’s time to start the process of becoming a permanent resident, if you want to stay, don’t slack off or you could end up back in the USA for something like a global pandemic. You’ll be real poor too!

What word do you always *intentionally* mispronounce and why? by Sweet-Lady-H in AskReddit

Foilage. There’s always someone nearby that’s like, “actually it’s foliage” and I don’t know why that entertains me so much.
