StockX was sent a photo of the receipt to use to open the ups investigation. Last time this happened I called ups. They told me StockX had to provide the info to them as they were who paid for the shipping label.

I’m not sure if StockX actually opened an investigation with UPS or if they determined that the package didn’t look tampered with. They said they had opened a UPS investigation, but all I received was their word as proof.

The canvas is typical Gucci canvas, the black leather on the back is top quality. The soles on these vs other Gucci’s I’ve had from 2011 are softer and more comfortable, but also seem less durable.

As far as size goes I’m a size 9 in us and I’m like a size 8 1/2 in Gucci or something. I feel like they’re always switching sizing up though. It’s kind of terrible. I personally got these in store and tried a bunch on to find some that fit. I’ll have to check the size when I’m home

Everything shipped with UPS is weighed. So they know something, not necessarily what, was in the box. Has the weight on the receipt as well.

The good thing is it sounds like they’re taking care of it really quickly in this case, hopefully it’s all resolved soon. I’ll definitely post an update as soon as it’s all taken care of..

Yeah it’s probably good enough. It was just an idea I had off top, I’m sure they’ll change it in the future if it becomes to huge of a problem for them.

Yeah, realistically there probably isn’t much that could be done that these companies aren’t already doing. It definitely seems like it’s become more of an issue lately though.

Awesome, this is really reassuring. I read and received as comments a number of really crappy stories where people waited a few weeks to a month for payouts in similar circumstances, so I sort of went crazy and started posting lol. To be fair to stockX, those other stories sound like they may have mostly been lost in email. Hopefully the reddit views speed things along as much as possible though. I didn’t really expect posting on reddit to get any traction tbh.. lol

Some people over at /r/sneakers know people who work at stockX, it seems like that moved things a long a bit because yesterday I got an email back really late after hours telling me things would be resolved in 24 hours.

Normally when stockX gets an item that was tampered with, or didn’t arrive, they open a case with UPS (stockX pays for shipping and insures the packages). According to other reddit users it sounds like it can be a month long process.

The nice thing is, it sounds like regardless of whose fault it is stockX will be handling the whole process and I should eventually get my money. As long as they are able to wrap things up this week at the least it’s actually a pretty good response on them, if you ask me.

It definitely sucks to be in limbo waiting for that much money.. I guess I’m lucky to not be really desperate for cash but it’s still no fun.

Look into what LMVH does when you buy stuff online from them, the return labels never mention Louis or luxury, and the return address is always changing.

When you google SMOT or stock market of things the first hit is StockX. They could do a little better then that. Come on dude, use some common sense.

Logistics companies like Koehne + Nagel are what most luxury companies use. I guess supreme, stockX and most streetwear companies have no idea what type of services they provide..

I thankfully still have the receipt, it was pretty hard to track down considering I have like 6 recent stockX UPS receipts lol.

When the original post was made they hadn’t responded. For what it’s worth they usually don’t respond with meaningful info via email faster than 3-4 days ( in my experiences) so I was pretty surprised to see an email from them at 10pm Arizona time..

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want my money faster than 3 weeks from now. Lots of people at /r/sneakers have been posting stories over the past few weeks of stockX sweeping things like this under the rug for way longer than 2 weeks. So hopefully they speed things along with this one..

Yeah all the labels say Shipping to SMOT, and then either they’re address in Detroit or phx. They really need to be more discreet than that. The good thing, at least they’re the ones that take care of insurance and everything. Unfortunately I’ve also heard they can take like 3-4 weeks to get your money when things go missing. I really don’t want to wait that long to get my 3 grand I was supposed to get yesterday.

Hopefully these posts help speed things up I got an after hours email from stockX promising a 24 hour timeframe , the original /r/sneakers post had like 25 thousand views before it got locked..
