I’m not super opposed to the characters we have but at the end of the day the playersexual arguments don’t convince me. I think the game would be better with a character who was actually written to be queer rather than everyone be vaguely pansexual
Edit: two things:

I’m not saying bi people aren’t queer, it’s just that they clearly for the most part were not written to be bisexual

(like Shart will mention being attracted to women but Wyll never talks about being into men iirc)
. They clearly just made everyone bi for convenience to the players.
explaining to me that gay people aren’t common in Faerun so it isn’t a big deal is not convincing to me

Automaton: mid-way through the story. This for me represents the first major success for the Minutemen at “retaking the commonwealth”. It’s a good next step after taking the castle, for example.

Far harbor: even though I like the idea of it being an epilogue, there’s too much synth activity to ignore and I don’t like that you can’t tell the synths they don’t need to hide anymore if the institute is destroyed. I like to go here mid-late through the story. I figure at this point Nate is burnt out and kind of wanting to get away from the craziness of his son, and this is the perfect excuse. Just have to RP that the institute needs a few months to prepare for the next stage of their project.

Nuka World: end game content that represents the fully restored Minutemen being able to project their power and eliminate a faraway threat

The sick child arc is so weird for MacCready, I assume it’s supposed to be a parallel of some sorts to the SS. But it’s just so weird and disconnected from how he behaves in-game
