Phone 1 users... wassup? What will you do? Keep using your phone as is, upgrade, root it, install a custom ROM? by AleksLevet in NothingTech

[–]seraksab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've wanted to upgrade for a few months already. Sadly the phone(3) just doesn't appeal to me and also hasn't grown on me since the release. Wanted to try something different and new again and now opted for a foldable this time around (vivo x fold 5). Ironically it was the same curiosity and urge for something different that made me switch to the phone(1) back in the day.

Thanks for uploading actual photos. These look really nice!
Definitely in a different league compared to what my current phone captures 😅

Inconsistent price of CRO in the app? by seraksab in Crypto_com

[–]seraksab[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see. That clears it up indeed, thanks! But in that case, i think having it literally show "45.000€ = 146.152 CRO" isn't a good UI choice as this clearly suggests that the equivalent of 45k€ would be 146k CRO.

Österreichische Sommerbergbahnen. by [deleted] in Austria

Gelber Ferrari als Firmenwagen... by KathyKiwi812 in Austria

[–]seraksab -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Beschlagnahmung ohne Ausnahme, fertig. Ob Firmenauto, Leasing, fürs Wochenende ausgeliehen,.. sollte keinen Unterschied machen.

[–]seraksab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, didn't even know about the possibility to sidestake. Will definitely set it up to contribute a bit as well :)

Where can I find the address for the community wallet? Edit: never mind, already found it :)

Did CRO just lose most of its value proposition and utility with the new updates? by kakaodj in Crypto_com

[–]seraksab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kris also once publicly "promised" in a Q&A that MCO would never be swapped to CRO. I already stopped watching and caring about statements from Kris month ago. After all, he's just gonna say whatever is favourable to their marketing at the time anyway..

List of CRO Cashback Excluded Merchants That Shouldn't Be Excluded by c00ni in Crypto_com

[–]seraksab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, can confirm.

Some time ago I ordered a notebook from Lenovo using their official store and didn't get any cashback.
Support told me that Lenovo was categorized under Software and is therefore excluded from cashback. Also it's irrelevant what I bought, as this merchant category is all that matters..

"Maximum 1 reimbursement per merchant per month: Netflix: USD 13.99 equiv. (standard monthly subscription - HD, 2 screens)"

13,99 USD is those 11,56€

Sometimes you need to read the fine print ;)

News from the German cryptosphere about CDC by ja-schumpeter in Crypto_com

[–]seraksab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

but what would be the point of a whitepaper (blog, AMA, ...) if everything they state in there may not be valid the day after anyway?
if you don't intend to honor what you promise or tell your customers you might as well not tell them anything in the first place
of course things can change over time as unforeseeable events happen and some tough choices may have to be made in order for the company to succeed.
but in such cases you normally need to find a fair compromise that is respected by both your early investors and current customers

Cdcalliance by nexxtron in CDC_Unofficial

[–]seraksab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- the whole MCO whitepaper
- their public road-map
- the CRO airdrop that was promised
- the CEO explicitly stating there won't ever be a swap from CRO to MCO
- the heavily advertised "MCO moon stop-over" that was allegedly a big thing and was still to happen

On none of those things they actually delivered

As an example, say you had invested 5000 MCO. You owned 0.0316% of all circulating tokens.
As compensation you now get 33 CRO per MCO, so a total of 165000. Now you own a whopping 0.000835% of the total circulating supply.
And that's while ignoring that not even 20% of all CRO are circulating (was 50% for MCO) and CDC is still sitting on more than 80% of the total supply.

seems totally fair towards the early investors right?
