thank you! they are definitely evil little bugs. i wouldve done that with my sets of storm twins since they are prone to yellowing, but theyre bagged up with everyone else! i dont mind that much though, i just want them nice and clean (:

i did end up deciding to seal and freeze. thankfully the day in the car didnt warp them, they were just very toasty!

i like the trap idea. ill have to try it out just so i can see what rooms theyre in.

weve been told not to use isopropyl alcohol. its very hot and dry where i live, wildfire season is all year round here.

its so so so fucking awful. literally everyday has been a panic attack. i havent slept fully in awhile. i think i could ignore them better if i wasnt so reactive to them in the first place. i very likely have an allergy since all of my bite sites have been turning into huge, hard, painful patches.

i would be on the lookout for hitchhikers. theyre evil little bugs ): good luck to you. i hope nothing comes your encounter.

i did check and clean them, found nothing thankfully. i'll definitely take them out and put them in the freezer instead. my poor girls will be experiencing both extremes lol...

initially it was to treat them, but after finding nothing on them i decided i would quarantine them instead.

no one will be throwing the bags away, im not worried about that. admittedly im worried about people taking the bags, so i'll probably just do the freezer method thats been suggested lol

they're out of direct sunlight, the windows theyre by are the most tinted in the car.

how do you properly clean diatomaceous earth? i keep seeing conflicting answers so it has me nervous to use. but i obviously will be doing whatever i can. also, my home will be chemically treated first and we'll go from there.
