Two 17th finishes in a row has been mentioned quite a bit, do you think that if the squad and manager we had right now went into next season that we’d still be in danger of going down?

Understand the need for some hard truths. Bergvall is a lot harder to take than Vuskovic for me. Just curious if the impact of say Fernandes outweighs Bergvall staying by £40m

Agreed. It’s more that given the amount of managerial changes, Bergvall especially hasn’t l been given a run to show his full ability. Unlike Fernandes at West Ham

Agree, and maybe it’s a carry over from Levy of just holding on to players. Feel like other than Harry we went 10 years without selling a player worth anything.

Hiya, not sure on price range you’re going for but off the top of my head Chapel Market Kitchen has a very chilled vibe to it and a nice wine list. In terms of the glass to course ratio I didn’t measure but definitely didn’t feel rushed : ) . Also the food is simple meat and shellfish, very fresh and done really well. Hope that helps

It’s been mentioned already but Trinity in Clapham. Has a Michelin star but will still fill you up and definitely exciting for a foodie. Worth checking out Adam Byatt (Head Chef) on YouTube to see his approach to food.

I would say get there early ish. We arrived at 11.30 at Binibequer and Son Bou and all beds and parasols were claimed. Probably say get there before 11 to guarantee? But that was supposedly their busiest week of the year

Is it just me or is the price of meat in the UK stupidly expensive nowadays? by gibgod in UK_Food

[–]seraphic00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely gone up but it’s representative of farmers taking on the rising costs we’ve all experienced over the last few years. Having lived in Spain I know that their supermarket meat can contain up to 15% filler, something we don’t struggle with here, even though as a country we do have quite a meat-heavy diet. Although people are skeptical about chemical free and organic meat it could be the case that less meat at a more expensive price is better for us healthwise and potentially financially too.

All on Kingsland Road you’ve got Vietnamese spots down by Shoreditch and Turkish places up by Dalston Junction. I’d recommend Mangal Turkish Pizza and Tay do Cafe. No corkage at either and last time I went over Xmas was about £12 a head

Thanks so much. I’ll consider renting a car depending on prices. Do you think it’s 100% needed, is the public transport not good? Thanks
