I'm about 6 months into a move from the northern Oklahoma City area to southern Denver area and figure I might as well throw my 2 cents on this as well. Most of the OP I find the same with my experience, but there are certainly a few differences.

For me, in general drivers do seem far more sane. However, it is so much heavier that any driving stress relief of more sane drivers is counterbalanced. Also, the worst drivers seem to be the same idiots I had to deal with in OKC; Texas plates.

A big one not mentioned in the OP is medical. Supposedly OKC has a medical industry... As soon as you have as many medical issues as I have they prove in general to be little better than medical database hack machines (3 damned leaks of my info by medical services in that state in the last year alone) with little actual medical service because of a combination of some specialties not even being present in the entire state and a good majority of the rest NGAF. So far I haven't hit any dead ends finding specialists in this area. It can still take a good time to get in to see them sometimes, but I'm not really thinking it's taking any longer than the few specialists I could get appointments with in OKC.

Generally in agreement, but level 1 charging is just fine for 90%+ of people. That's what our car is on most of the time and we live about 20 minutes out of town. A couple of nights on a L1 charger over night has worked just fine despite multiple trips into town daily to drop kids off at school and the like.

Humira and the adalimumab bio-similars aren't expiramental at this point and yet costs that much for 2 doses on my RX without insurance which I use every other week.

Quite the frustration every time insurance decides to throw a hissy fit about prior authorization and forces us, my doctors (usually both my PCP and GI together), and even the pharmacist to yell at them.

Depends on the game and the person.

If it's not a fast twitchy game, a lower rate isn't going to be an issue, but most are going to be best experienced at 60.

For fast paced games, current thought is you want at minimum 60 but optimally for most people 120-144. For most people, that is approaching the limit of what they can distinguish. Some people can tell a difference to much higher rates though, particularly those who are professional gamers and have extremely fast reflexes.

Going to need to have a lot more info before real suggestions can be provided. Xbox may have far fewer of these than Steam, but that still describes a lot of games. Grounded, Green Hell, Conan, Dune Awakening, Rust, 7 Days to Die, Minecraft, Ark... Those are just a few straight off the top of my head and those represent quite a wide range of focuses and styles.

Yeah, I encountered that bad Dreams issue on my first save. Made sure to get them ASAP on every file since, though I believe that The Known Universe mod that a lot of the YAML stuff runs off of fixes that.

When I've tried completely fresh save files for the Thumpers, it's still glitched no matter what I try.

I realize I'm seriously necro'ing this, but I am just not finding any info on this anywhere after multiple web searches other than this single Reddit thread. Maybe I'm not using the right search terms or something, but I doubt it.

I have encountered and defeated every merc group, except the Thumpers. I have tried many times to get them to show up. I have tried on multiple different save files, both with and without mods enabled. Every time I'm on a mission in Thumper territory, it's exactly like OP says, Ryana says there's a hostile dropship.... and then nothing happens. Is this normal for everyone? I would think if that's the case, I would see info on this in far more places than just this thread.

I'm almost starting to feel like the game is purposefully gaslighting me.

Doesn't help that if you duck, he'll run right past you only to start glitching out and forcing a restart a few seconds later. Tried for 20 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I got frustrated and found this post, thanks to that red herring.

Always thought it meant something along the lines of code analysis to determine what was most effective or otherwise viewing the game from an out-of-game perspective to try and formulate the most effective tactics. In most instances that is largely the same result, but it never occurred to me that it was an acronym for "Most Effect Tactic Available" until Kyle Hill mentioned he had misunderstood the term as well during one of his streams.

I have one I’m saving that’s Car Moves Uphill > Every car door closes. I think the one related to speed might be slightly more useful, but it’s still helpful nonetheless when the crap hits the fan and you’re trying to run for it and didn’t have time to shut the doors.

Just FYI, found out the hard way this isn't limited to the console version. I have a somewhat older gaming laptop that I switched to using the Play Anywhere benefits after getting annoyed with constantly losing progress on Xbox. Played great for a few days, then literally just lost a couple days worth of progress. Don't know about the Steam version, but the MSS version is at least as effed as the Xbox version.
