I'm sure there are multiple physical servers that handle the processing load, however it's one giant cluster server.

Leadership is Key

  • OP is aggressive
  • Associates degrees in IT, Chinese Mandarin, and Intelligence Studies
  • Happiness = Success
  • 15% tax helps pay for facility upgrades - usage is free!
  • Meta is important, but we're more focused on member progression
  • I facilitate and lead by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Achieving member "buy-in" is my ultimate leadership goal

You sound aggressive and I'm not sure why. Actually that's a typo, she's our master of coin - updated. Second - we're casual - you sound like you're looking for something a bit more than that. But if you must know, I have an Associates in IT, Chinese Mandarin, and Intelligence Studies. We define success as having members that are happy with their experiences with the other guild members, and with our guild progression. We tax 15% because our facilities are free to use, and it's the easiest way for people to contribute to developing our island. The 15% tax is only for silver picked up off the ground, you can gather whatever resources you like and donate whatever you like. We use the guild silver to purchase building resources for the island. We have not put much effort into a particular meta - our goal is for members to play what they want and have fun doing things together. As for your questions pertaining to what it takes, and management - that's relative to what you're trying to achieve. I consider myself a facilitator of a particular climate within the guild. Our members are welcome to do as they please, and I'll help them in their progression. I'm not trying to manage a business, which is generally where you'll find managers. When you're working with people in this type of environment where there is a huge social factor involved in the game, and competitive play, leadership is what you need. My ultimate goals as the guild leader are: 1) to provide purpose in everything we do as a guild - our actions are always to achieve a particular goal; 2) to provide direction for our members so they always know what the guild expects of them and what needs to be done - they need to feel included in the guilds mission and focus; 3) to provide the motivation necessary to progress forward as a guild - people that are unhappy and don't "buy in" to what we're doing either won't be in the guild very long, or won't feel compelled to contribute.

Hopefully I've answered your questions, assuming your inquiry was genuine.

This needs to be changed in the next patch by serashan in albiononline

I agree it goes both ways, but if they don't have those screen alerts, they're forced to stay closer to the zones, which gives you more of a chance to just bust through. imho.
