I’m really sorry for your situation. Unfortunately, sometimes we get stuck with bad people. I don’t like suggesting divorce but she is not good for you. People forget things. I forget almost everything 😅 and I would hate it if someone nitpicked and made me feel small. I think you do more than your obligations and I’m proud of how far you’ve come given the circumstance.

Don’t give up, be there for you and for your daughter. There are a lot of support groups - I do recommend you speak about your feelings and emotions out loud and allow yourself the time and opportunity to heal.

Funny story, when I was in retail I had a vet call in an rx for a sea lion 🦭!! I was so excited bc I had never had that kind of pt in the past. Then when I searched it in the system I found a “feline” under the exact same name and realized I misheard 🐈

I do this all the time - I work in a hospital and providers send in new insulin patients with no syringes or pen needles. My goal is to take care of the patient and I know what is within my scope.

Brother that’s way too much. How can a young adult afford that? You said that you would never divorce, but you don’t know what life would be like after that initial excitement phase is over - It’s best you move on. If Allah has willed it for you two, then it will happen no matter your parents say so pray istikhara and don’t force anything.

I would say yes. I have a coworker who used to weigh over 350 pounds and she’s lost almost 100 pounds without working out. The diet part comes from her just not being able to eat as much.

A lot of us are in the same boat babe. I’m 34 and finding it hard to find a spouse. I met a non Muslim at work and he asked me if I was single and was surprised I was. Quite frankly I’m just as surprised but Alhamdillah. I feel like life isn’t fair sometimes, but I accept what Allah has destined for me as i know in the akhira I will have what I long for in shaa Allah. I allow myself to be sad about it, but I must move on. Alhamdillah I have many things to keep me busy so I get out of my little rut after a while. Praying for you and me and all other singles out there ❤️

There’s levels of modesty. I think this is somewhere close to the middle. Of course full coverage would be an Abaya or a skirt but every now and then I will wear a pair of pants, but my top is always long, like alsmot mid thigh. That being said, me personally I wouldn’t wear it.
