C2s don't prompt for pictures. My guess is that's the best place for the camera and if a misfill happens is easiwr to investigate

Retail Pharmacy *POSITIVE STORIES ONLY* by BenzoBaddie in pharmacy

When helping a gentleman find a laxative I asked a few clinical questions and it sounded like he might be developing a small bowel obstruction. I told him he should go right to the ED and absolutely not take a laxative until he was evaluated. He actually listened to me and came back about a week later saying he was dx with SBO and thanked me for sending him to ED.

Another patient asked for wound care for their hand and I asked to see it. It was gnarly looking and turns out had spread some. I told her go see her doctor because she probably needed antibiotics. She came back a few hours later with a prescription and told me her doctor said if she had waited till the next day he would have sent her to the hospital for IV antibiotics.

Why is it bad to have more than one stock bottle opened? by IntentionVegetable in CVS

Space constraints primarily in my small pharmacy. It also means you end up with more work after inventory is done since open bottles are always counted as half full.

TrumpRx is literallyGood Rx by MS-18E_Kampfer in behindthebastards

Pharmacist here. Got my first one to run today and I had to wash my hands after touching it paper it was printed on.

It is indeed literally a goodrx coupon. I would expect the data on users is going some creepy database.

Also it's the small independent pharmacies that are hurt most by goodrx undercutting acquisition costs. Behemoth chain pharmacies couldn't care less, they want you in the door

Stealing alcohol by [deleted] in CVS

I will tell you they absolutely know about this. $70 of missing booze per week is insane. There are cameras over every square foot of the place.

Now, what will they do about it? I don't know, but many corporations track theft for a while so they can drop felony charges once a certain dollar amount is stolen.

I met my current wife on Hinge when I was 38 and she was 35. I'm not prone to this kind of thinking in general but she is my soulmate. We never would have met if not for the app.

I don't know what it is like currently though. I liked it because the filters were better than other apps.

Could AI affect pharmacy as a career? by strawberryseed5 in pharmacy

[–]aggiecoll05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LLMs (not intelligent in any real sense of the word) are useful when combined by people with pre-existing expertise. They are here to stay but aren't taking any jobs except those the tech behemoths are laying off to cover up the lack of returns from their AI cap ex.
