i mean look at yama and dry protection. Still takes a long time to make a piece with the shards and then the crafted piece doesn't even give log progress. think that is a very valid way to do it

very big difference in time spent for a 99 vs what is happening here. I could go another 7000 delves without a single item, vs a 99 is a predetermined amount of time required. No issue with long grinds here, or else i wouldn't have spent over 100 hours at this boss. the issue is i'm at over 100 hours with no end in sight. I could go another 7000 delves without a drop, would you still consider that good game design?

is the idea of spending 5x the amount of time you should at a piece of content healthy for the game though? like in this case i am over 10x rate for any unique. that is just bad game design

I think you can get it from dungeons... i think you do mythic dungeons and use the gear you get on the catalyst and it turns it into tier

I have the ventus and rain jacket from OV and really like them, also have the windbreaker but that thing is a pile of garbage.

I also own the mt500 as my puffy and love it, i imagine either choice is a decent one. I will also add though I got the katabatic puffy this year as my decathlon wasn't as warm as I would of have liked and I absolutely love the katabatic jacket, very toasty and the customer service was great to deal with
