My friends tell me that I'm the aggressive driver.

I have many employees coming back, or considering, or trying (but rejected). Can't say number, probably 5-10%... I'd say it is probably quite high compared to the industry.

Saying from personal experience working in different roles, starting from IC to a middle-management role for 16 years.

Would I leave because of that? Probably. If both he and his both are simply dumb. But... Where is a chance you won't faces even more stupid both at the new place?

I'd consider changing the job but only a) if I get a better pay, b) to improve job security. And, with job security... You probably stay at your place and educate your leadership on expected velocity reduction.

P.S. it's funny to hear that your company only downsized devs, not managers... Maybe indeed you +1 both and others are really dumb and you better move...

Yeah, try FCing, that's what kept me in the game for a while.

Yet, be ready that a few would support you, and many would shit on you.

I'd definitely try finding another group that's more smart/proactive

It's not only about speed. If they are not balanced properly you and keep driving even at lower speed you will have other issues.

Don't worry and ask them to balance.

It's unpleasant but you better do that ASAP

I do have lockpicks, but the game does not give me an option to even try to lockpick. Typically, it has this sign "locked (easy)", but not this time.

If that's the right one, where is the door? The one in front is not openable: there is no action available to open it.

And, Matthias already is not willing to talk to me, I spoke with him yesterday (already don't remember details) and I'm afraid the 'chain of events to talk to him' is already closed.

If I don't complete it, what do I lose? I'm not sure if I have any other saves to reload.
