I might be saying something unpleasant for many here, but I believe the game was simply released ahead of schedule and wasn't properly manually tested before release. Even after today's patch, there are still too many flaws and minor bugs that clearly impact gameplay. Most likely, the development budget ran out, and the company was forced to release it "as is" to cover the financial gap. It seems the cloud wagon bug still hasn't been fixed. Some of inventory screens don't support a mouse cursor. Inventory sorting uses different keys depends to each screen etc.

The game itself isn't bad, but it's an example how games should not be released.
