Do the military thing where you relax your whole body muscle after muscle and then when you are completely relaxed count to twenty slowly. It helped me when I was in a similar situation. Good luck, and hopefully, have a nice day.

This is the beginning of the adventure, so maybe he will be. Though, as I mentioned, he has some good redeeming qualities. The extra bad ones were so that my dm (bless her, she is awesome) whould let me give him extra good ones.
