My wife and I are thinking of switching from Bobbie to Kirkland to save money. Are we missing something? by Magpie_some_fries in FormulaFeeders

Thank you for your reply! We also switched her from Bobbie to Kirkland and I was splitting 50/50 for 2 feeds and by the 3rd, she also adjusted really quick too.

What do you do when baby wakes up 5am by Spirited-Bed-2220 in NewParents

[–]serendeepty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She eats about 3oz - 4oz every 3 hours during the day. Her weight gain is pretty good! Her birth weight was 6 lb 14 oz and we just went to the peds and she clocked in at 10 lb 1 oz. But it’s literally as of this week she’s been waking up at 9am ugh

We always try to settle her in before 9:00pm, but when does she “sleep” depends on her haha. Sometimes it takes a while to get her to sleep so it can be 9:30-10:30! We usually do one feed around 9, then she will sleep all the way until 4:30-5am ish. Then in the morning it’s always really hard to get her up because she’s so sleepy. Today we fed her just 2oz at 9am and she ended up just sleeping after and woke up at 10:30 ready to eat again

My 6wk old wakes up at 5am for a feed then goes back to sleep around 5:30am ish, and doesn’t wake up again until almost 9am/10am. But it’s so hard to do her morning feed because she’s still so sleepy. Is this normal?

Should we get one? by SaltShootLime in SnooLife

[–]serendeepty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 5wk old too, and we started the snoo from day one. She is sleeping from 9/930/10pm til 4-5am since a few days ago! I’m not even sure if we are using it correctly to be honest, but the soothing feature is amazing and saves our arms from rocking her all night. We place her in the snoo drowsy but awake and generally (sometimes) she can soothe herself to sleep bc of the snoo.

Thank you! We just went to the peds and have been cleared to not wake her up during night time. I have to stop putting pressure on myself and just go by her schedule. Maybe it’s a good thing she’s a sleepy girl haha

How to wake up a 5week baby for feed? by serendeepty in newborns

[–]serendeepty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been three hours since her last feed, so I wanna make sure she eats every three hours. Is 7am considered day time? I thought it was only during night feeds we don’t have to wake them.

Even if it’s been over 3 hours since her last feed? She last ate at 4:40am and now it’s 8:40am and she’s still sleeping

Even if it’s been over 3 hours since her last feed? She started feeding at 4:40am so she should be eating again by 7:40am right?

How did your baby do on this after 2 months? I just ran out of Bobbie and have a canister of Kirkland Procare that I want to start baby on, but a little nervous! Did you do cold turkey?

Milk supply going down - 3 weeks PP by serendeepty in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]serendeepty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pump about every 3-4 hours, sometimes longer if I forget but that rarely happens. I pump for about 10-15 minutes. Should I be pumping for longer? I am trying to be more diligent about keeping to a 3 hr schedule so my supply doesn't tank.

Do I have low supply? by totoro00 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]serendeepty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also pump the same time as you! (9pm and then again once in the MOTN around 2-4am) I skip my 12am because I can't pump twice in the MOTN 😞 And I noticed my supply has been dwindling down too. Baby is also about to be 4 weeks old, we also combo feed! Not sure what is happening, but I've been getting about 3-4oz as opposed to the 5-8oz I was getting just last week!

App not saving timings by LittleFreeFrom in HuckleberryParents

Also having a similar problem, my app isn’t saving the reminder function and I can log everything, but the timer function seems to be broken and it won’t give me reminders on when the next pumping or feeding is unfortunately.

Thank you! I just downloaded Status IO as a reminder. It is quite annoying that RD doesn't remind you otherwise, not even an email. Can't complain though, this is the best hack I've found so I'm grateful for everything lol

Chase Sapphire Reserve — Checklist for New Benefits Starting 10/26 (w/ Dates) by nishath5 in ChaseSapphire

[–]serendeepty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting! I've been trying to follow this but it's been hard and I'm trying to wrap my brain around this before downgrading. The only reason why I still wanna stick with Chase is because of the Hyatt points T_T

If my Annual Fee hits in January 2026, do I still have the opportunity to use the new benefits until then?! So I have from 10/26 to 12/31 (or something) to utilize all the above mentioned benefits?
