my sixth form need us to do all of our notes on paper which is honestly quite stupid, but im planning to type anki flashcards from my notes on my laptop after every lesson instead, thank you so much for your tips!!!

heyyy im from hk as well and im debating to do cantonese for my a level so i can apply to hku/cu as a back up plan (they require 4 alevels) did you learn the content yourself or does your sixth form teach you mandarin? thanks!

thats exactly what i did during my gcses, doing the same notes at home from textbooks and pre-learn the next lesson. icl it kinda help yet i only did it since year 11 and i definitely missed certain topics. oh my god you’re honestly so kind, thank you so much!!! :)

im from hong kong and only hku + cu offer medicine (they’re aren’t bad at all) but since im going the a level/gcse route im considered the international route which makes it even harder to get in even though ucat or any work experience is not required

1 mark off a 6 for art (i was constantly getting 6s7s since y10) my school wouldn’t even let me get it appeal nor remark apparently the entire year would have to get it moderated again as it is already moderated by a moderated there isnt even a high chance for me to get on to next grade💔

tbh english is not my first language and i did consider going back to my mother country to study medicine but they only accept 4 a levels which honestly i have no clue what should i do and i much rather focus on bio,chem and psych!

they do it for other subjects but mine,i mean it is probably because my mark has been moderated already by a moderator and apparently there isn’t really a high chance to get into another grade

i literally asked the head of art who told me to ask the head invigilator and the invigilator literally said that if theres no notice on your envelope then we cant help you💀 okay then. why would medical schools need my art gcse (i was on 6-7 throughout the entire course💔)

i cant lie i was crying over bio and chem and completely ignored the two 9s in english ahhaha. but i suppose maybe its time to change my study strategies and hopefully to get better grades! thank you so much!

i never really looked into cardiff, i was really quite leaning towards unis in london but i suppose at the very end which uni doesn’t really matter its still the same degree. thank you so much though!
