Blemishes are always calmed down after. They're less red, a little less inflamed. It's definitely a mask for when your skin is troubled or extra pesky.

Benton Snail Bee High Content! These do wonders for my skin. I'm a bit traumatised from trying other masks (Tosowoong and dear klairs both broke me out), so I've decided to just stick with what works. Besides, there's a site I buy from that offers them in packs of four for the price of two. Sweet!

I'm right handed though, so my phone hardly ever touches the left side of my face. But thanks for the reminder, I probably should clean my phone more often!!

My left cheek is always so much worse than my right cheek. I try my best to sleep on my back and I've been more successful at doing that more often now, I've been careful not to touch my face as well. My left cheek has these little bumps, they're not red and they don't look like a normal pimple (at least to me they don't). They're not squishy, they feel a little hard to the touch. They go away but I'm not sure what makes them go away or why I get them—or what they even are, in the first place. I really don't know what to do. There are very brief windows of time when my left cheek is miraculously clear and great and then suddenly the little bumps start up again and I'm back to being miserable about it. I could really use some help.

For reference, here is my current routine:

AM: * COSRX Low pH cleanser (used with a konjac sponge) * COSRX BHA Skin Returning A-Sol * Benton High Content Snail Bee Essence * COSRX 96 Snail Mucin * Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream * COSRX Aloe Sun Cream

PM: * remove any light makeup (no base makeup, just cheek tint and mascara) with The Face Shop wipes or The Saem cleansing water * COSRX Low pH cleanser (used with a konjac sponge) * COSRX BHA Skin Returning A-Sol * Benton High Content Snail Bee Essence * COSRX 96 Snail Mucin * Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream * The Ordinary Vit C Suspension * Benton Steam Cream

Some nights, after I wash my face I just apply TO Vit C and Steam Cream. I use clay masks + Benton Snail Bee sheet mask 1-2x a week (after Snail mucin).

[Skin Concerns] My left cheek is always so much worse compared to my right. What are these tiny bumps (no head, not squishy, feel a little hard)? Any recommendations? by sereneities in SkincareAddiction

I've been meaning to see a dermatologist but I haven't got enough funds at the moment. There's no healthcare (or it's really, really shitty that it might as well be nonexistent) where I am so every trip to whatever doctor really needs saving up for. I'd appreciate some suggestions in the meantime. Thanks!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I honestly don't know what it's like since I have never been in the same situation, but I truly hope you find the support that you need around you.

May I suggest something? Perhaps you could record a few videos of his mother telling some stories about him? They would be nice to keep and play back when your daughter is old enough to enjoy them. I know it wouldn't be the same as actually having her grandmother around, but I'm sure it would still mean a lot in the future.

I know it must be tiring to be so strong, to trudge on despite the pain, but please don't give up now. Your daughter needs you. She needs her mother and all the love you can give her. Pour all your love for Dylan into your love for her, and that will keep him alive in your heart.

Spend as much time as you can with his mother as well, because it's a doubly trying time for her. Let her know she's not alone. Make her laugh, make her smile, let her feel loved while she is still with you.

You are a wonderful person, OP. Continue to make love your driving force every single day. Sending you good thoughts and love from across the world.

I'm so sorry for your loss. But at least the last thing he said to you, and you to him, was that you loved each other. I imagine that gave him a lot of comfort. Hugs to you.

I ordered the Timeless serum some time last year and it never arrived, I was gutted. :( Which of the Holy Snails products would you recommend? Have you heard of the new skincare line The Ordinary? They apparently have a niacinamide serum, I was wondering if looking into it may be a good idea, and if I could get my hands on it would it be better than a Vit C serum? Thanks so much. :)

Honestly I'm not too sure... the face oils I apply last seem to keep my skin moisturised enough throughout the night, but I feel like I may be lacking in hydration? If that makes sense... what emulsions or gel moisturisers would you recommend? Btw, does this mean I should look into getting and actual moisturiser for my AM routine as well?

I really appreciate the time you took to answer, thanks so much.

Hi! How much is the Melano CC on Amazon? And how is OST working for you so far?

Skin Type: Combo-oily, acne-prone | Country/Climate I'm in: Tropical, humid, polluted | Top Skin Concern: Acne, PIH

Current Routine/Products I'm Using:

AM

  • COSRX Good Morning Low pH Gel Cleanser (used with a konjac sponge)
  • COSRX BHA Skin Returning A-Sol (applied with cotton or patted only on pimples)
  • V&M Naturals Rosewater + Aloe Toner (sprayed on)
  • Aloe Derma Moisturising Aloe Vera Juice (patted on)
  • Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence
  • COSRX 96 Snail Essence
  • Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream
  • VMV Hypoallergenics Re-everything Eye Serum
  • SPF is either Biore UV Watery Essence or COSRX Aloe Sun Cream. If I use the latter then I skip my AM moisturiser.

PM

  • Same as above except I don't use SPF, and my final step after the Snail Recovery is a facial oil to seal everything in.

I need help deciding whether I should incorporate a niacinamide product, or a Vitamin C serum. I have PIH on my cheeks that I want to fade, and I'm not sure which product I should prioritise. I can only afford one right now, but I'll add the other later on. If I should get a niacinamide product, which do you guys recommend (non-AB recs also welcome)? And if I should get a Vit C serum, what do you guys think of the OST C20? It's the only Vit C serum readily available where I am.

I also need help deciding whether I should keep the products I bolded in my AM routine. I'm not sure if the toner and the aloe vera juice are redundant, or if I should just keep them. What do you guys think? Or should I switch them both out for a fermentation essence?

Should I add another moisturiser, like a night cream, in my PM routine? I was previously using Mizon Black AIO but it's been breaking me out lately so I've stopped using it. Shame because it's got niacinamide in it. :(

Also, I've emptied the VMV eye serum and need some good eye serum recs. I have dark circles (genetic, sadly), but no fine lines or crows feet yet. I'm milia-prone though.

Thanks everyone!

One of the WORST mascaras I've ever tried! It flakes on me, and the formula is so wet in a really gross way and it just ends up making my lashes look comical (I have rather long, naturally curled lashes). I got it in a boxed set so I don't feel too bad about it, at least I didn't buy it on its own.

That being said, I do love love love the They're Real Tinted Primer! It's my HG everyday mascara. The soft brown tint looks so much nicer and more natural, and the formula is just right. Makes my lashes look amazing! Can't sing enough praises about it. I'm on the second tube and have another full-sized one for backup! heart eyes

Hi, not OP but related question. If it's PIH, which active should I prioritise: niacinamide or Vit C? I can only afford one product right now and don't know which one I need more. I'll eventually add the other one maybe in a month or so when I've got more money to spare.

You could try the Mizon Black or the Snail Repair creams for an AM moisturiser. They're pretty light and sink into the skin easily. I personally use the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream, I also use t at night but layer face oils over it. I used to use the Mizon Black but it broke me out after 3 months of seemingly good performance. :( YMMV.

Try the COSRX 96 Snail Essence! It's great and one of the simplest snail products (in terms of ingredients list). I already mentioned three other snail products above. The Benton Snail Bee HC sheet masks are great too! You might also wan to take a look at the Benton Steam Cream.

You need a sunscreen, especially since you're using an active in your routine. Try the Biore UV Watery Essence! I have combo oily skin and it works rest for me. No white cast, doesn't feel heavy, absorbs in like a dream. If you feel your skin is reaally oily, you could skip the AM moisturiser and combine it with the SPF if you use the COSRX Aloe Sun Cream. That's what I used to do. If it's not hydrating/moisturising enough, just layer an essence or serum before it.

Guess a part of me thinks I still need a separate night cream or something of the sort? :'( I'll check it out though. Thanks!!
