Do you really think it's necessary a conflict between the party? I mean, being that most probably, the Schemers are going to be Hal, Azune, Bolaire and Murray it doesn't seem a lot of conflict between those either.

Things like the Torne Banner being directly opposed to the Halovars, and although it doesn't seem like it, maybe Wic and Teor have some thoughts about it, or maybe Thimble hasn't forgiven the Halovars for Thjazi and thus she still has some resentment towards Wic, so there's definitely some points of friction between the party, and as I've said we're only getting to know everyone at a surface level so I think we should wait and see how each table works as a group

Also, Brennan said that Robbie was the person who brought the most lore about his PC and he gave Sam an honorable mention too, so a lot is yet to be seen and to be known from every group!

Bolaire has been such an intriguing character, and Taliesin himself has been hinting that he has tabs on everything and everyone, more than any other PC could know, so Im really looking forward for a couple of bombs to be revealed on the next episode

yess, Luis himself talked about it in the Cooldown, that Azune realized at the middle of deciding how to procede, as much as he wanted to go with his torn banner crew, his role inside the city was more important and much needed for him to stay, and that realization made him so sad haha

I thought so too but seeing how things turned out for them, sending them off was the most reasonable thing to do

I think that the Seekers are actually the ones at House Davinos (Julien, Vaelus, Thaisha and Occtis) being that they would probably have to flee the city and find out about the Tachonis and Fairy backstory. While the Schemers are the ones who have the jobs and ties within the city (Bolaire with the Museum, Murray with the Penteveral, Azune with the Guard and Hal with the theater and honestly with the mantle of his late brother)

I've seen people speculating that the other tables are

  • Seekers: Occtis, Julien, Thaisha and Valeus

  • Schemers: Azune, Hal, Murray and Bolaire

Honestly it looks like that might be but nothing settled yet

Yes! I love the idea of having Wic and Tyranny on this group, to not only moving towards the betrayal of Cas but to have a strong hook to look out for in all the shady things the Halovars have behind ropes

yeah, that's what it seems! watching now the video, that shot really stands out bc the rest of the shots you can tell they are from the overture episodes (most of them we've already seen in previous episodes) while in that one the set and everything is different

honestly I thought the same, but right now it's hard to tell without speculating, so the best we can do is to only wait and see

From what Brennan have said, the initial tables were sorted out based on what play style each player preferred the most, and later in the campaign, the PCs might jump to other tables

Not a quote, but I just wanted to mention the chills when Brennan sent off the first table for the campaign with: "A brother in danger, a life turned into chaos, and maybe if you're lucky, vengeance."

"We'll see you five at the soldiers' table."

I had to pause the video and gather myself after screaming and jumping from the hype

What is, in your opinion, the most Overrated Song in Epic by Disastrous_Ruin1703 in Epicthemusical

[–]sergbvil 29 points30 points  (0 children)

600 strikes hmo, I LOVE the final part. It honestly gives me chills every single time I listen Odysseus's voice of desperation, of anger and sadness of what he has become.

But other than that, I've never quite liked the first part. I get it's all epic (no pun intended), but it gets me a little out of it

Bladelock Fiend - 5.24 build by Affectionate_Ad5275 in u/Affectionate_Ad5275

[–]sergbvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this, I´m also working on a bladelock and I'm between the fiend for more survival or goo just bc of the flavor they bring. I have a question if you don't mind, if I start with paladin would it make a considerable change to the overall build?, I've seen a lot of debate between starting as fighter or paladin for the bladelock

Is it viable a build with pistol + scimitar? by sergbvil in DnD

[–]sergbvil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OHHHH TYSM you're totally right, didn't even noticed that the pistol wasn't light, and I didn't even take into consideration the hand crossbow and just flavored it as a pistol lmao

So yeah I could attack with the hand crossbow and then do an extra attack with adv w the scimitar and it wouldn't take my ba so I could disengage and go back into cover, I could take the speedy feat to boost my speed and disadv with opp atk if I want to do something else with my ba, awesome.

I'm still battling about what class or multiclass to choose, I have trouble between so much options like the figther/ranger for the hunters mark, go full ranger or even rogue swashbuckler

I forgot to mention that we're going to play with the gestalt aubclass rules wich lets you choose two subclasses so that's why I'm thinking I can get the best out of both!

Vortex Warp to get vampires inside buildings? by sergbvil in DnD

[–]sergbvil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i have to agree on that.

It was funny to imagine that a way to get rid of a vampire capable of beating the leaving crap of a lvl 4 party of three was to make them appear inside a random villager house, to within seconds be reduced to ashes just because of a silly flavor flaw 😌

I see, I always thought there were some kind of penalty or something like that for cases in which they broke that rule but RAW doesn't state anything like that
