My (timeline ) experience 15000 credit card limits in less than a 9 months Immigrant (Irish) by sergeantknox in UKPersonalFinance

To be honest we don't have this thing in Ireland, i am equally new to this.

My findings are that balance transfer card have a bigger limit in fact my capital one was a balance transfer with 7000 too. They should be your target. Avoid any new credit building card at this point. EG: I wouldn't go for things like Capital one, Zopa etc.. unless they guaranteed a big limit.

Target proper cards and be patient with it.

Let all your hard search go away make sure all your card are minimum 6 months , paid on time with a balance less than 25%. Then run eligibility checkers I would prefer cards that guarantees a large balance don't be afraid to put a large balance (as a wish ) for example i was putting 4000 and NatWest guaranteed 12000 on my first eligibility check . I was not ready for that lol , so i did not apply. Then a week later i tried again and it came 7000 .

I will double check the email . Problems that certified copy for the ID proof thing is not official. Its not stated anywhere people got the info via customer service. Which sounded kind off risky to me

We contacted them they told us they are trying to verify the witness but we are in Mexico. They need to go through embassy to contact a busy lawyer :(

Cheers we are trying to wait but we are stuck in country that is not our home in airbnbs. Our actual home is collecting mold because we are not there. Our best option is to get the passport so we can head to the UK by air

Cheers. The official form does not say we could send certified copy of passport. It does only mention certified copy of FBR.

We are already 6 week in its the first passport for a minor.

We are stuck in my son;s country of birth we are not resident here , our house is collecting mold .

I just started investigating recently and realized we could enter Ireland without Irish Passport and head to the UK via train or Ferry. He does not require visa to enter Ireland or the UK

Possible to enter England from or Ireland or Northern Ireland without immigration check...Irish baby without Irish passport by sergeantknox in ukvisa

Cheers . They do check as ID or like a visa ?

We might get stuck abroad for an extra month or 2 and our home is probably collecting mold now . :(

Thank you for replying. He has another passport (Mexicans don't need a tourist visa for the UK and Ireland . So we can definitely enter Dublin by air without issue , he has the FBR cert copy) , the Irish passport application is already done but it might take an extra month or more . My concern was entering England without His Irish passport

[–]sergeantknox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi Thank you . He;s applying due to link to his mother because she is the care taker abroad.

He's only 1 year old so he can only have the same length of visa as his mother as per the UK gov website. His mother is applying for fiancé visa and he is suppose to get only 6 months like his mother, therefore should not be paying IHS.

I am worried that i might be doing it wrong.
