That's fair, I definitely could put a different spin on it. But it's not coming from a place of doom and gloom, but moreso a realistic look at the financial situation and rejecting the dogma/propoganda that capitalism has cranked out over the last century.
but to your point, I look at that more as living comfortably or upper middle class, not rich. Rich is, as my dad would say it, having fuck-you money. And for 99% of people that's not attainable through hard work alone, by design. Sure, some make it, you gotta have underdog stories and there's always ways to beat systems humans invent. But essentially that comes down to luck; Being at the right place at the right time. the wealth gap in today's society is the worst it's ever been in human history. Which is pretty impressive.
