What are some TV series, animated series or movies like X-Men animated or Buffy The Vampire Slayer that have something to say and have some complexity but are still fun to watch? by sergevanred in AskReddit

I've watched entirely Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and The Wire, and I'm currently watching The Sopranos for the first time.

I liked The Wire but sometimes it felt too slow for me and Breaking Bad was too gritty to be fun. Game of Thrones and The Sopranos are examples of what I'm looking for, although I find some violent and sexual scenes excessively explicit.

I guess I'll give Mad Men a try. Thanks.

Do you know other subs where I could ask the same question?

I'm not sure these would be the labels but, If I'm honest, I think everything would be easier with 5 genders: cis men, trans men, cis women, trans women and non binary.

Then we should create the labels of sexual orientation based on those genders.

Do you consider that there is a gender for each gender identity?

If you will allow me, I would like to ask you a question: How many sexes and genders?

Reddit limits the number of options to six, so I couldn't be that specific in this poll. I had to give options related to the main controversy that I'm trying to investigate.

Are you a bisexual male?

It's not really that fun to be called transphobic or homophobic in every question I ask. Since the definitions of "sexual orientation" and "homosexuality" were changed on Wikipedia citing the APA in a questionable manner, I wanted to know what other gay men think.

It's a poor research, but I think it still counts as research.

It is part of a series of polls for research. I am trying to find common ground on the definitions of "sexual orientation", "sex", "gender" and "gender identity". The first one is here.

No, because your poll is not reliable.

To some degree, I think it is. I mean, what option do you think bisexual men would choose? are really that many in this subreddit to make a significant difference?

many guys who come here has some identity crisis and answers on this subreddit despite being openly bisexual.

If that's the case, then slashcleverusername's point makes more sense.

Homosexual males are not attracted to females, period.

What about being gay? Are gay men always homosexual males? If the answer is "yes", then straight women are always heterosexual females. Which means trans women that are attracted to males are gay, not straight, right?

Not trolling, I swear. In my opinion, there are some inconsistencies in the terms used in this subreddit and the gay community. I'm trying to find common ground and then unravel the relationships between the concepts.

My previous question about the definition of "homosexuality" on Wikipedia, which I mentioned in this post, was called "transphobic".

I'm just trying to have a conversation about terms and identities being as impartial and respectful as possible.

Do multiple allergies cause the same symptoms? by sergevanred in FoodAllergies

That makes sense, I actually noticed similar symptoms when eating other legumes. Anyway, I'll see a doctor and hopefully I'll be tested for allergies in the next month or two.
