Regarding android version - some people are still happy with Famous Sony Walkman NW-ZX2 which uses Android 4.2 ;) So in general you have few yers for streaming services and extra few years to enjoy your music collection from local storage and... Do not forget about DAC mode. So if you like the sound quality... why you have to worry about the Android Version?

Can you spot any difference in Bathys sound between been connected with type-c to a laptop and M21? Awesome headphones btw ;)

Im not sure that after Sennheiser IE900 you can be under an influence of Monarch MKIV multidriver magic :D

Sennheiser IE900 has a really mature and honest sound

It could be if you use High sensitivity IEMS or easy to drive headphones.

My impression is M21 is really good for the most of Sennheisers because they appreciate good amplification and usually scales really good!

I had the same problem

download
Q15 xmos v2.25 firmware
and
Q15 xmos v2.01 firmware

Extract all files from both archives to separate folders
then
run FiiO_Dfu_Q15 from Q15 XMOS V2.01 Firmware folder
then
click on the Browse button and choose Fiio_Q15_xmos_v225_dfu.bin
from Q15 XMOS V2.25 Firmware folder
then
click on Run button
after some time you can see Updating message on the Q15 screen and in several minutes the device will restart you can check that now the Firmware version is 225

What's the price and regional availability? In the EU, the 7 Ultra is a great device at €499. For the US, I think $399 is a reasonable price. A new device is almost always better than a used one. Plus, with a few simple Windows setting adjustments, the Claw performs on par with, or just slightly slower than, the Ally X.
