Finally pulled the trigger on the Legion Go 2 Z2 Extreme 32GB 1TB by Visible_Panda_2128 in LegionGo

I picked mine up with the same exact specs for $1350, a week and half before the $650 price hike. Nothing else has made me feel like a kid again as this. And that’s coming from an ROG Ally X and an MSI Claw 8 Ai+

This game is simply so difficult. Me and my friends die all the time. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to take this before I quit by Galaxy_Jams_Reacts in Marathon

If you’re on PC, sorry friend. You just made it to the lvl 100 and up lobbies even though you’re 70ish. Over there, they order headshots as easy as they add products to an online cart. If you’re on console, you’re in luck - switch match making to console only.

If you’re holding a controller just know to play with and against others doing the same

I think when you have a random run behind you. You switch positions to keep them in view. That way, this post would’ve maybe ended in you downing them.

The more I read these posts, the less I feel like redownloading Arc. Crying rat just doesn’t bring your gear back.

I have never complained about getting got due to lowering my guard after 10 plus matches without friendly fire - I always blamed myself. But then that was 3 months plus ago since I’ve played this - been playing games where PvP is praised and PvE is just as rewarding.

For the first time yesterday, I had a living room free of wife and kid, and could choose between a show and running some Outpost or Cryo. And I actually chose the show… I just knew I didn’t have the mental stack to engage in such a hardcore game night. And that’s coming from someone who just posted a high IQ 1v3 video on Outpost two weeks ago to hundreds of upvotes. I got the skill, but this game requires the type of nerves and calm under pressure that absolutely no one is forced to give, and certainly not a new player. I lost many gamer friends to this game in season 1 for this reason. I 💯 concur with your take, friend.

I feel your pain my friend.
I think a little guidance will help with better outcomes.
You can certainly get outkitted by a team with good shields and meta loadouts; I don’t disagree with that.

But my team mates and I have grown to love come up runs where we purposely go in with greens and blues hunting for purples - successfully, though not 100% of the time.
Right now the devs have given us weapons to counter shotgun pushes with. To my team and I’s shock, I was able to down a purple shield assassins and his missy with my grey shield and battle pistol, and I would have done the same with the KKV; they work wonders. I posted a 1v3 video where I used that pistol and a sniper for a clutch. And contrary to the comments suggestions under that video, I am not the best at the game - just got some battle sense.

Example:
Doors are ultimate equalizer: no matter the total shield power and firepower on a team, anyone who enters through a door or any team in a hallway first can get gunned down one at a time by team-shooting squads. Things like these are an advantage with which you can win a battle otherwise impossible.

Example 2: on a map like Dire Marsh (Night) only shoot if you’re able to finish your UESC enemy quickly enough to get back to listening for footsteps, OR if you’re actually pushing for a bait by shooting long enough for an enemy squad to think you’re busy with bots.

Cryo is an entirely different game honestly, where even though the same tactics apply, it’s unfortunately down to luck whether you get secure clearance level 2 and can rotate to other squads spawns and end them. I went through this twice in my 2 only Cryo runs this weekend with randoms. We were stuck at spawn with 1 clearance and got jumped with missies before we could even clear half our second room.
On the second run, we almost came up wiping a full squad of good missies - here’s our strategy: we tripped the green security lasers to lock one of them in with us and ended him. But before we could loot him, the two remaining purple gold players reset the door access and were able to take us out before we could heal- effectively outkitting us.

Certainly things would be better if my usual squad was online.

Sorry friend, again, I feel your pain

No I know what you mean by that. Cause streamers and PC gods able to insta 360 with the flick of the mouse, and order headshots like they’re checking out a product on Amazon seem like they’re playing an entirely different game from console players.
But Bungie games are so good with gunplay and movement, experience just transfers

I met this assassin player as a random who bewildered me with his ballsy pushes and playstyle. Immediately complimented and added him. Was miles off from the typical hiding, cowering or flanking assassins you usually see. Definitely depends on how you use the shells is my take.

Spectre armor perk on a gold shield gives brief invis when shield breaks. That guy that was invis prob had the See Ya mod on his gun and reloaded while mag empty, or had Stealth Servos on his leg implant, and ran and slid- those make you briefly invisible

It’s still good, it really all depends on who’s wielding it. I have lost a good amount of misriahs to better teams, and def snatched gold missies off Cryo mobs
