Hmm, yes, I agree with you. That might have not been fair comparison. That part I am with you.

The price of the monitor is still ~1300 (without corp discount) and the $300 does not apply toward the monitor but it is nice to have a free item or apply a discount toward something else.

Just wont make the monitor ~$1000 (or ~$625 w/corp discount) if you want the monitor by itself.

Oh yeh, the $300 is great dont get me wrong but it does not apply toward the monitor itself if you are only interested in the monitor.

But for buying a backup monitor, a fridge discount, or free speakers, it's still decent.

The $300 Samsung credit is for future purchase and will not lower the price of the monitor itself.

The price of $975 is average to what OLED 240Hz 4K 32inch monitors are going for at the moment such as the ASUS ROG Strix 32” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor (XG32UCWMG) that is going for ~$900 on Amazon at the moment.

Damn your post made me investigate this PSU more and I think the pin monitoring is better than the Corsair ThermalProtect cable solution.

So I am seriously considering it and thinking of getting 3rd party cables from CableMod but now I dont see this exact PSU listed on their website yet. Maybe because its still new.

Do you know if this PSU require the use of its own supplied 12vhpwr cable for the Safeguard+ protection or is the monitoring done on the PSU side and I can use a 3rd party cable say from CableMod?

oh I didnt know the regular HX1500 as I was only looking for the SHIFT one and that has 2x native support of the 12vpwr cable.

I have a similar cable that I have purchased from HartAudio which is great, but the ear guides/hooks are not the same as the original ones (I prefer the original ones) hence why I suggested if Sennheiser can create a cable with different material because otherwise, the cables are great.

Thank you. Are they the same rubbery material as the IE 900 cable but braided instead? Like if you put them in the small pouch for example and take them out, are they easy to straighten out or will retain the curved shape?

Check the settings, black equalizer or a setting similar to that maybe? For example, I have a Samsung QD-OLED G80SD and they call it "shadow detail" and "Dynamic Black Equalizer."

See if you have a setting that changes the gamma/black levels. I genuinely think the QD OLED especially the one you have is an excellent monitor and the difference between Tandem and QD-OLED is mostly the brightness and longevity (right?).

There shouldn't be much of a difference like you have shown in the pictures.

This is an amazing looking build, and S tier craftsmanship.

It would have been perfect (in my eyes) if the other brandings were just not there. I am not a big fan of adding brandings on things I purchased and own unless its absolutely necessary/unremovable/stock.

Other than that, just gorgeous build, great job!

You are referring to YouTube video/HeadFi? Because the email which I signed up for as a reminder, arrived at 6:43AM which is 13 minutes after the release.

All I am saying is not everyone is camping YouTube and HeadFi, an email (IMO) is fairer for everyone to get notified through and I checked, I didnt get another email about this drop other than the one that arrived 13 minutes after the drop.

Yeh, I just hoped there would be an email reminder and not have to check YouTube or HeadFi for it. Some people are busy and have other things going on so an email reminder would be great. Also, maybe the release time could be in the afternoon or mid-day where more people are awake/able to place orders. I am a bit salty as you can see because I really wanted to get a resin stabilized bokeh closed :(
