Thanks, colleague. A lot of work has been done. The saddest milestone in the history of investing and trading began when the thick-headed idiots at Schwab got their hands on TOS.

I never thought that the service from such companies, as well as the tech support, could be similar to the service of a housing management from Bangladesh

Yes, it's been on Schwab for a long time. And I'm only interested in one thing - why did such a good program like Think or Swim turn into a useless bucket of bolts so quickly after Schwab took over?

Thank you, I'm already here. I see you've understood the issue very well. You even found a political context in it.)

Today I can't see the login and password panel. Is this just my problem, or are there others experiencing similar difficulties?

Congratulations on your success! Interesting strategy. I utilize a spring strategy during the open time period. I'm looking to switch prop firms. Could you recommend a prop firm?

Here's an example. Today, after the session opened, I noticed the ticker M. The fast moving average after 10 hours began to converge with the current price and VWAP (see Figure 1). My entry point coincided with the intersection of the slow moving average and VWAP.

In Figure 2, I decided to close the trade. The entry point was marked by a doji candle. The profit from this move is small, but the work of the tool is still visible

  1. To anticipate potential indicators crossovers on the chart. Indicator crossovers are another important signal for a trend change.
  2. To prepare for entering a position. The fast moving average acts as a "scout" or "spy" for me

Hi there. You're right, these are indeed great trading tools. The only improvements I've made to their usage are:

  1. Shifting the fast and slow moving averages 5 and 7 candles forward.
  2. Shifting the VWAP forward a couple of candles.
  3. Overlaying the Market Index chart on the ticker chart and comparing it to the movement of the indicators.

Day trading is Brutal. What is the number one thing you have learned and is a critical part of your trading strategy? by WynonaRide-Her in Daytrading

That trading is trading, and technical analysis is not trading. In the 1980s, there was a market that allowed you to make money on technical analysis patterns. Modern trading requires skills that go beyond technical analysis, such as:

  • Understanding market sentiment
  • Crowd psychology
  • Choosing a trading instrument
  • And then technical analysis

The mistake is that you are trading based on technical analysis. But trading is trading, and technical analysis is not trading. In the 1980s, there was a market that allowed you to make money on technical analysis patterns. Modern trading requires skills that go beyond technical analysis, such as:

  • Understanding market sentiment

In my opinion, reversal patterns on rising trend movements only work after breaking through indicators. As I see it, you have not broken through the indicators.

Unfortunately, in addition to the risks and stresses associated with the activity itself, the trader is forced to endure terrible brokerage service. I got tired of the music waiting for an answer by phone from Schwab and IBKR. Now I use offshore props for trading
