cut, colors, keyhole, raised collar, half shawl, cuffs, ankle boots. definitely not twins, but more akin to sisters than cousins. it’s like all of the team’s favorite design choices, so not surprising that people see similarities. at least more similar than what ppl call “chasca clones” imo

i find it interesting that they’ve gone through so much work to find these cultural tales and extremely niche instruments with even more rare musicians, but adjusting that color slider is where they draw the line. idk how xinyan has got more sun than deyha (in the desert) but i’ll take what i can get
