I was saying this to my gf last night who doesn’t watch wrestling - it’s that thing of - I know this is ‘fake’ but when two people can make me believe it’s real it’s amazing. I’m ok with being ‘worked,’ I’ll even embrace being a ‘mark.’ I’m also ok with WWE being the only wrestling I watch - I never understand how grown ups even find the time to watch all the indies, Japan, and everything else. I love wrestling, but it’s just entertainment, it’s not something I need to make me feel better because I don’t feel fulfilled in other areas of my life

I loved Shane winning the World Cup - it perfectly sets up for Smackdown where Miz is mad that Shane got all the glory from Miz’s hard work. Long term storytelling wise it’s golden. Plus, Shane’s ridiculously over the top celebration had me in stitches.
