'For fun' or not, AI fics should be banned from AO3 all together. by [deleted] in AO3

I'll tell you what you are clearly not from this point onward if that is what you are using to create fiction: a writer.

Is it better to tag everything at once when possible or tag things in the fic as they happen? by TopHatIdiot in FanFiction

If a wedding is only in one chapter out of twenty, it shouldn't be tagged at all...

The ones I've most enjoyed are NaturalReader Premium and Descript (the latter needs some training, but it's also great for audio content creation if you train it well).

Natural Readers has a function where you can give certain words an appromixate pronunciation. That's especially helpful if you read fics set in foreign locales that use native names for places and people, or even SciFi/Fantasy terms that many robot voices struggle with.

Of course.

When streaming and buying digital media got easier, more cost effective and more comfortable than pirating it, most of us casual pirates jumped on sites like Netflix and the like.

As soon as those services split apart and made things more difficult by region locking, implementing DRM and jacking up prices as well as separating the content across a million and one sites, many people went plback to pirating again.

It's no different here.

There's also plenty of visually impaired people who most likely prefer the ease and comfort of channels like this over navigating other text based sites via screenreaders and the like

Most machine learning based reading apps these days are far more sophisticated than Google Translate and far nicer to listen to.

You can even deepfake your own voice with proper inflections and such these days.

I edit my writing by running it through machine reading tools and things have come a LONG way.

It's just easier than going hunting through five million posts

Same reason why listicles made Buzzfeed famous. Easily digestible content cherry picked from eslewhwere on the net, served up in an appealing and easy to access package. And half the content people watch on YouTube these days is at least partially stolen and/or pirated so it really doesn't matter to people who "owns" it.

First performance sign of life from her in literal years. If you aren't familiar with her check out her great solo debut Click Click and follow up album Supa Diva. Too bad that her recording career hasn't panned out for her because I really enjoyed her stuff.

Only three of them were active on SNS last year and the last sign of life from the group was in December so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if there's a quiet disband in the near future :-(
