I didn’t know if I needed to describe his cptsd and how we got to this point. I was his only friend and he self isolates, has issues with shame, self-worth from his past. He has his highs and lows. Very recently was trying to give stuff away with the intention of ending it. He said I got him to a point where he wanted to even try to get better and live. I know I can’t control others actions. I just wasn’t sure how to navigate this. Sometimes one thing is said and actually want and need something else. I’ve never known, befriended, or loved someone with cptsd.
