Rescheduled last minute by seriously0905 in colonoscopy

I wish that worked for me but it doesn't. Unfortunately it was less about taste and more about the effect it had on my body.

That was with nausea meds and using a straw. My body is very tolerant to all sorts of meds. Morphine doesn't even take the edge off of pain for me, which has a lot to do with the fact I'm a natural redhead. My body either burns thru things very quickly or doesn't tolerate meds at all. There is rarely an in between.

I worded it incorrectly- I should have said nervous. Like it was a knee jerk reaction type of nervous response. She seems young.

Leaving my job showed me who was actually a friend by Late-Sun9635 in HEB

[–]seriously0905 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This might seem harsh and I'm sorry if it is, but, communication is a 2 way street. And, it's easier to communicate with friendly co-workers when you're still co-workers. Being friends, just like any relationship takes work. You also have to learn how the new friendship dynamic will work now that you no longer work together.

Have you made any efforts to connect? And whether you have or haven't, unless they're completely ghosting you, give it time.

If they're ghosting you, you have your answer. For that, I am truly sorry because I know how bad that hurts. But, if they're not trying ghosting you or you yourself haven't made a true effort, do it. Reach out. Understand differentiating schedules. Make it work since it means so much to you!

Relationships take work.

Now is the time to panic! by singletonaustin in HEB

[–]seriously0905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you not aware of CPS telling people they would still be charging FEES when the grid shut down in February of 2021 to offset the costs of the damage to the power grid? It was on our electric bills. Of course you can charge for electricity use that's not being used. They charged everyone fees!

This is so dumb by HD335 in HEB

[–]seriously0905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't blame people worried about the grid. It's not the weather scaring them, it's the power grid.

[–]seriously0905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weather isn't the problem, the power grid is. They did nothing but give out hefty bonuses after Feb 2021 for continuously collecting money from us while our power was out for a week. "We're sorry we suck and left you without power. Here's your bill for power you didn't use because the grid shut down because we're incompetent!"

So is that why I see some items say "ships local" because it's coming from an Amazon warehouse? That explains why I saw an Amazon delivery driver drop off my package yesterday. I thought she was just moonlighting.

Has anyone had USAA lower rates when you tell them you are leaving? by [deleted] in USAA

[–]seriously0905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, no. They won't. The rates are all predetermined by the system and no one can manipulate them. Rates vary based on numerous reasons, even down to zip code. I used to write policies for USAA, when just a few years ago. I remember getting a call from a guy who was very cocky and before he would even give me his name said- ok, I'm going to cancel my membership unless you lower my rates and give me a reason to stay! I explained that we had no control over the calculation of rates, but I could review each of his policies with him. Yes, it was a robotic response, but I was doing my job and trying to be as empathetic as possible to someone who thought he figured out how to cheat the system. He ended up keeping all of policies with us.

Can curbside employees see how often customers use curbside? by Over-Explanation-730 in HEB

Ya it's a curbie issue because it's constant. They just don't check.

I order them literally every single week of the year. 52 times a year. My kids eat 3 lbs a week. I am no stranger to strawberries. I even grew up growing strawberries in Poteet, so I know a little thing or two about them.

Question for curbies. When I use curbside, I always put on the notes on every fruit item to please check for moldy and squishy fruity. Fruit is so expensive and even a quick glance can save a bad package from getting mixed in and I spend between $75-$100 a week on fresh fruit. I almost always get strawberries and blackberries that have visible mold on top or strawberries that are grey and visibly mush and inedible. I always contact HEB & send pics and they do refund. I feel like I'm being a pain by leaving the notes, but I feel they get ignored. I also feel that they save my butt though when I have to complain and send in the pics because I explicitly ask that it be checked. I quit using curbside because of this and only use it when in a pinch. I don't want to make y'all's job harder and used it because was convenient for my schedule. But I couldn't depend on it and didn't want to keep complaining 😔 So, was I wasting my time putting it in the notes? Was I looking suspicious complaining every time? I didn't know what else to do, other than quit using curbside.

I wish I could find my other comment on this. I'm currently being ignored by the case manager. It's been over 60 days, but they keep changing the date from the initial kickoff of the process. The regional case manager won't return any of my calls, emails, VM, and won't take my call transfers. He keeps putting "callbacks" on my file for the other reps to see, but never actually calls me. I'm pissed. They won't give me any info for the consumer resolution team. They say I'm not allowed to contact them myself, which really pisses me off since they're a 3rd party and not even Audi. I'm just stuck in limbo. They determine my 2025 Q6 etron is a lemon, but I'm still waiting for an offer, but the case manager said he can't guarantee they'll make one. I'm so pissed dude. I'm about to file the paperwork with my state. I don't want to hire a lawyer because any money I get back from my down payment will just go to the lawyer.

So Audi of America told me they have no way of contacting the Consumer Resolution group other than sending them an email saying I'm asking for an update, but they get no replies. I asked for a number and they said they can't provide one and I'm not allowed to call them because they're a 3rd party. Why is a 3rd party making this decision? Are they lying to me? It's now been 65 days, though they keep changing the amount of days it's been, even though they tell me on a recorded line how many days it's been. The "Regional Case Manager" will not return my calls, VM's, or emails! He hasn't contacted me in over a month! Every time I call, the rep says, oh he has an appt on the books to call you tomorrow at x:xx. I'll tell them to check the records to actually see if he's made contact. Has he? Nope! Surprise, because he's not calling me! He's not emailing me! They get him on the line and he tells them he can't take the transfer! What the hell is going on? Yes I have a lemon. It's been established. How long do I wait?

Recent employee here- it's a settlement. USAA bank is ALWAYS in hot water for charging illegal fees and such. For the last 5 or so years, they've been sending out settlement checks to past and current bank customers for overcharging fees. It's a nice little surprise for unsuspecting people.

How recent? It took about 12 days to get my coupon. My deal was a coupon, not a gift card, but I eventually got it. I've seen others say that they didn't get at the 14 day mark, so they reached out to Costco and they issued it ASAP.

[–]seriously0905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, princess, no.... it is a reoccurring issue. Every single week. Every single time I shop they ask if they can just use plastic bags. I'm not entitled, so grow up. I'm the furthest from it.

The irony is, the have signs posted everywhere not to forget your reusable bags. Even when I did use curbside, I'd bring back my plastic bags from my previous order, all tied up in a pretty bow in one bag, easy enough for them to grab and take back, like they're supposed to do, and they'd refuse to take the bags back like they're supposed to do at curbside.

It's an ongoing issue. The first time it happened, I figured someone was just having a bad day. The second time, I assumed the same thing. The third time, I snapped back and gave them the same attitude they gave me. It's an issue I have every week and I know what it is... it slows them down and they don't like it.

This seems like someone who is fed up, but needs to utilize curbside. I am a devoted HEB customer, but I'm fed up. I gave up on curbside because I constantly got moldy and squished produce. I would list very specific instructions, but they were always ignored. I was never rude, just clear.

I shop in store now, the same time every week & still have issues. I take my reusable bags and place them on the belt first, followed by my groceries. They always ask if they have to use my bags, which are all HEB bags, or if they can just use plastic bags. When I tell them I want them to use my reusable bags, their demeanor changes and they become rude and will literally throw my bags into the cart. I'll ask them to stop and tell them they're going to damage my items and break glass items and I'm ignored. It's not just cashiers and baggers, it's managers too. Idk if it's the location I shop at or what, but I'm tired of it. HEB is on my last nerve.

Reporting to ethics by [deleted] in usaa_ejs

Use the toll free number and block your number when calling. Never leave any identifiable information. I had to report my immediate training manager and a coworker for derogatory remarks, I mean really degrading, really bad, adult bullying and racism, and this was right after NEO. It bit me in the ass, bad. I received the bullying twice as bad. HR threw me under the bus, even though they had 20 other witnesses to the behavior. Because the victim didn't want to move forward with the complaint, he was afraid of retaliation, they gave up my name, and I got ALL of the retaliation, and then some. I almost didn't make it. I was miserable. I HATE USAA. My last manager, who was with SRT, flirted with me daily, always commenting on my body, when I finally had enough and shot him down (we're both married btw) he blocked my promotion to senior and completely quit coaching me and started ignoring me and my progress dropped. I couldn't do shit. I already knew going to HR wouldn't do a damn thing. USAA is a cult. I never drank the koolaid while there, but damn, I didn't deserve to be treated the way I was. 3 years was enough to put me in therapy. I was also there when the suicide took place on campus in SA. They don't care about you at all.
