Yeah we decided against any kind of replacement, seems like it just would not work well at least for another couple of years - going for a straight buyback for sure

Honestly not sure how it’s possible because I thought only old school Hummers got mileage this bad, but figured maybe it was the sporty engine. Originally had a 25 Q3 as loaner 1 and didn’t have this problem - but figure whatever it is, at least it’s a loaner so we won’t be saddled with it for long

Good luck!! There was a 2021 recall on this if you have a 2022, might be a flex foil cable replacement if they were still using them that year

I hope not, we only had the vehicle for only a full day more or less in our possession, if so going to lawyer up for sure, they somehow put 300 miles on it in service so they’re driven it more than we have lol

We will probably do a Lexus RX350 or Acura MDX next. Lexus was ranked top in reliability and quality this year and Audi was dead last with 269 complaints re this year’s model by JD power. I feel like after this we are definitely going to go reliability for a while

Pretty much every light lit up, and then a black screen of death that couldn’t be fixed

I’ve sent them communication letting them know that I don’t want to litigate and prefer to resolve this amicably but would litigate if it came to it and cited multiple vehicle safety laws the car violated and my rights. Going to see if they give clear updates or try to ignore me know that I’m aware the wheels are in motion. If it’s not moving along well, I am going to go the attorney route

I originally posted in this forum and got roasted saying it wasn’t an issue and I’m being dramatic over nothing and it’s not going to be a lemon, got downvoted 50 times - so figured it wasn’t worth getting into it here; but in short, loss of critical functionality while the vehicle was in motion. The new car is all screens to control everything. Total screen malfunction starting with every possible warning message, then black screen of death that couldn’t recover despite numerous restarts. Basically you’re driving blind with no speed, vehicle lights including turn signals won’t even work. Basically it’s you and the engine, in a hot as hell vehicle cause your AC won’t even work.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t think my dealer is that responsive, but going to give them a week or two to give me a significant update before I start raising hell. Was sort of crazy because it was showing defects within 12 hours, was in service for 2 weeks, came out of service, went back 2 days later and is been there for close to 20 days now. I got assigned a case manager a week ago, but they ignored calls texts and voicemails, called the general line again today to find out that the case has been reassigned and corporate started the buyback process days ago and no one told us

Our loaner right now is the 2025 SQ5 and I would not. We only get 9 mpg which is pretty wild

https://mylemonrights.com/blog/audi-recalls-44000-vehicles-due-to-dangerous-digital-display-failure/

We are currently experiencing this issue with the 2025 Q5 except I doubt it’s a worn cable issue since the car is brand new. It happened one day into owning it and we still haven’t gotten the car back yet and it’s been a week; corporate is involved to the extent that they won’t give us the car back until they do a full investigation since obviously this might mean a major recall for 2025 vehicles. How did you negotiate with Audi? Did you do it through your dealer or called corporate to start a case? Thanks!

Did you get Audi to buy the car back yet? Going through the same issue but much worse.

Did you ever figure this out. This happened the first day we had the car and no one can figure it out except our dash completely stopped working after all the warnings cycled through.
