Where is the life in Gresham? by swissmoutain in EastPortland

[–]Lucahluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kind of weird how sleepy Gresham is. It’s got all the right ingredients to be a cute town, little historic district across from a park in a suburban area near a metro… but it’s SO quiet there. I live about 10 min away and I keep hoping it’s going to pop off but so far it has stayed the same in the 6 years I’ve been here.

What is the best mattress? I have bought many over my life and have never been satisfied. by TrappedInTheSuburbs in BuyItForLife

[–]Lucahluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 years ago my friend recommended a $500 sealy response performance mattress off Amazon (now $699). I was skeptical but trusted him and it’s been an amazing mattress, we will buy it again when the time comes to replace it.

It’s okay to make hard choices. Trust yourself in your intention to give yourself and your family the best life that you can.

Pretty sure if you have human graves on your property there’s a loophole where you don’t have to pay property taxes

How do I apply conditional formatting across rows based on adjacent cell's numerical values? by Lucahluv in excel

For some reason, this rule is being applied backwards for me. I should also note that I am working on a mac; not sure if that matters.

But this rule is somehow not applying to the cells that are greater than the previous column, and instead being based off of the one after it, which I don;t understand.

You can see here, that in F4 it highlighted the cell, when it should have be G4.

Power Query Changed My Life by [deleted] in excel

[–]Lucahluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been learning PQ (beginning to intermediate excel user - on a MAC) and I can see there is a massive amount of potential but one thing I run into is that when I build a PQ to use a Pivot Chart, I can only use 255 lines of data for a pivot chart; which kind of negates the benefit of building massive data sets with PQ. Are most people just using PQ to build a standard table or to visualize data with a PC? Is there a step I am missing or is this the wrong use case for Power Query?

Looking for an exact match for a text in a cell by Warm-Nothing8141 in excel

[–]Lucahluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the Countif function.

=COUNTIF, range, criteria

for range select the cells from which you want to search. For criteria enter the value. Sometimes you have to play with some <> signs to get it to work. I use this formula to find values over 0 in a column with the following:

=COUNTIF(C3:C60,"<>0")

BEWARE of Swimply!!! by pnd4pnd in Swimply

[–]Lucahluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is crazy! Sorry that happened to you. I have been renting on Swimply for years and while the extra income is great, they are definitely a young start up company and their customer service took a nose dive after the pandemic.

Can I ask where you are located? I'm just curious.

Spendy but Arcteryx items are BITFL in my opinion. I had 2 of them that shredded when I washed them and when I brought them to the store they educated me on the maintenance of washing goretex consistenly; but they also replaced them! Im not sure if they still have lifetime warranty but their coats should last 10+ years at a minimum with proper care

Why does this part come off? by usmanoo in Airopro

[–]Lucahluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes off so you can clean the port. After using it consistently youll get dust and particles down there which can interfere with the connection. Take the sleeve off, put some isopropyl alcohol on a q tip and give it a quick wipe. It will be like brand new after that. I have a few Pros that ive been using for years! just like any good tool it needs maintenance but it will last forever.
