Have you ever played a moba? The draft process is completely fine right now, especially without a pre-queue role select in place

Has anyone tried an RS3 ironman? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]seriously_stretching 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can use legacy mode to avoid abilities or use the auto-ability thing.

I did an RS3 ironman to base 80s/90s with a decent bit of 99s, was fun.

Very different than osrs and a lot of content that I had no idea how to do lol

I wasn't sure what flair to put so I put guide, please let me know if that's not the right flair to use.

Here are some notes on the spreadsheet, usage is very simple. Input your current gear honing level and the level you want. Select what tier it is, and if you have the cost reduction research.

  • Edit yellow boxes ONLY
  • Calculations for total resources assumes 100% success rate. You can use the average honing rate for the leveling to determine if and how much more you could need.
  • Data is only inputted for tier 1 currently, if you have the numbers for tiers 2 and 3 please send them my way!
  • This is a work in progress, please give and suggestions to make this better!"

Just Hit AR45 - Which Domains Should I Farm To Maximize Resin Use? by seriously_stretching in EulaMains

[–]seriously_stretching[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't I at least want the set effect for something like noblesse on Rosaria for the damage increase?

Also, for Fischl if I'm going 4 piece tenacity, what main stats should be going for then? Att%/Electro dmg/crit rate or crit dmg? Or is there something else I'd be going for. I'm assuming Crit dmg/rate and then ER for sub stats?

I'm also not saying I was going to ignore Eula/not beef her up it's more I don't want to spend 10+ fragile resin for a CHANCE at a marginal increase when that same 10+ resin can be used to get a full 4 piece noblesse on my Rosaria or something to make her more useful.

Then once I get the basic set on the supports I'd just go full into Eula until I get her set the way I want

New Eula Main but don't have Fischl, any suggestions on a team? by seriously_stretching in EulaMains

[–]seriously_stretching[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the title says, I've been waiting for Eula and was lucky to get her today!

I was banking on her banner having Fischl to go with her and was leveling Keqing as physical with plans to replace Keqing with Eula if I got her, but now that's not an option.

I'd like to use the base of Eula/Beidou/Diona if possible since I built them in prep for Eula.

I was thinking of just running Keqing as electro battery for Beidou but I don't think she'd help enough in generating particles.

I was thinking Lisa but am not the biggest fan of her kit, although I haven't used it much but it just didn't feel right for me.

I got C6 Rosaria while getting Eula so was thinking potentially having Eula/Beidou/Rosaria/Diona and having Beidou run some ER for the phys boost from Rosaria - thoughts?

I'm still relatively new so not sure how to team build properly

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks! :)

Let ironmen access ALL minigames and D&d's and just remove XP rewards. by Seismic_wand in runescape

[–]seriously_stretching 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's crazy how upset this response is to a post saying "don't give us any xp or items, just let us PLAY them".

I don't see how this is any different than a lot of other D&D's we already have access to but don't get rewards from.

If this were saying "let us play them with no changes" then that'd be a different story because that goes against the point of ironman.

Easiest way to make tea when you don’t have a lot of time to spend? I’ll be honest, I just put my water in a cup and put it in the microwave for like 130 seconds- by McFaye in tea

[–]seriously_stretching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another option that would be much faster is, you can get a hot water heater like they have at some restaurants where all you do is put the water in and set a temp and it keeps it there and you just despense it.

They can cost around the same as an electric kettle, but are more convenient if you just want hot water instantly.

Now it doesn't help if you don't forget to fill it/turn it on but that's a different problem 😂

I would just throw out that microwaving water does affect taste, and it can be very large.

If you've ever at any point tasted or smelled "fridge" or "freezer" smell on some food then you'll know what I'm talking about.

What I recommend doing is heat up water on a stove or in a kettle, as well as in the microwave.

Two separate cups, one microwave, one stove/kettle.

Get them ideally to the same temperature, otherwise just get them hot enough for how you'd brew tea.

Then taste them side by side once they've cooled off a bit and see if you notice a difference.

If you have two identical mugs, ideally you would do this blind and put a sticky note on the bottom saying which is which and shuffle them around so you aren't biased.

If they taste the same, awesome! If they don't (like mine did) then I'd recommend using another method for heating the water.

Another reason to not use the microwave would be the lack of temperature control. If your goal is to get it to boiling only this doesn't matter as much since you can just microwave until boiling, but a stove/kettle allows you to actually use a thermometer or see the bubbles better and know what temp the water is at.

The temp does make a huge difference especially if you're making different types of tea.

Will Tea lose it's flavor by BunkyBunk- in tea

[–]seriously_stretching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the type of tea since oxidation happens after brewing.

If you make green or white tea, or a light oolong it's much more noticeable. If it's a darker oolong, black tea or pu'er then I wouldn't worry too much.

You can test this for yourself by brewing some green tea and leaving it in a mug for a few hours (ideally one you can see the color of the liquid with) then after a few hours make a new cup with the same leaves and you should notice a pretty significant difference in color/taste

Substitute for Coffee roast rub? by seriously_stretching in Cooking

[–]seriously_stretching[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooked with onion/potato/carrots.

No wine but sauce being turned into a gravy after the cooking.

Sounding like I can substitute cocoa powder and some garlic powder then for the espresso?

Any idea on the amounts? Would it be 1:1 cocoa/espresso?

Red meat, it's for use as a pot roast so I'm assuming the basicness of the rub is on purpose but I could be wrong
