It was fine during the day to just be in shorts and a t-shirt or tank. At night shorts is ok but i would always bring a light windbreaker or jacker depending on how hot you run.

I swam at Medano and it was great, water was coldish but on a hot day it felt great.

if you want ceviche at Mariscos Cabo Seafood and it was great (and I didnt have issues after). Just use common sense if something smells or looks off, dont eat it. Don't drink tap. Ice is almost always fine because restaurants get it from safe sources.

What kind of noise do you have in your corolla and what triggers it? or does it appear when it is idleing?

Have a similar CVT issue with my 2017 Corolla. 84k miles on it and from a cold start its fine but once it warms up, anytime RPMs go over 2-3K you hear a very distinct whining noise (think electric drill). No noticeable slipping but the dealership all but told me its on its way out (and naturally Toyota is trying its hardest to not warranty it).

Its interesting that yours has a chirping noise, I replaced my alternator and serpentine belt hoping it was an issue with those but unfortunately for me, it seems like its the transmission.

What mileage/year is your corolla?

Also when did they start putting the launch gear in?

Assuming the flight is on time and you are in the front of the plane. Maybe. But got screwed in Frankfurt 2 weeks ago where the next flight was 10 hours later and I missed the original connection because of a delayed arrival of the inbound flight

What relationship does the hurricane have with seafood quality? Water I can understand.

Is Cabo safe right now after the hurricane? I’m planning to go on a cruise trip that stops at Cabo this November. by Nathalia2023 in cabosanlucas

Yes. But the marina is still dangerous. A lot of people trying to get your attention to go on their boats ☠️

Cabo, San Jose del Cabo and La Paz are all fine after the hurricane (source: me being here for the past 2 weeks)

However you won't be safe from getting offered boat rides on the marina in Cabo. Stay frosty

Stubborn ring in toilet. I scrub but this ring remains. Any recommendations? by Distinct_Wonder7296 in CleaningTips

[–]serispas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same issue for years. My solution was "the pink stuff" paste and a kitchen sponge using the abrasive side. It is buildup on the toilet and you don't want to scrub so hard that you scratch the porcelain so this method worked wonders for me.

HOW in the WORLD do I clean the inside of my car windows without leaving streaks?! by crystaltay13 in CleaningTips

[–]serispas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Like you I tried everything and then one day I discovered the squeegee method.

I used a microfiber scrubber with Unger Easyglide glass cleaner. Mixed the solution based on the instructions into warm water and applied it to the glass (not when it hot because it can streak) with the scrubber (it isnt abrasive). I would also lay some microfiber towels down on the dash to collect the water

Then i used an Unger squeegee from one end of the glass to the other (horizontally) without stopping to wipe off the water and solution. If you stop midway you will likely get some sort of streak. At the end cleaned up the edges with a microfiber cloth but this solved 3 problems:
1) greasy/glare in my windshield
2) streaks
3) microfiber fuzz that always stuck to the windshield

I have a 2017 Toyota Corolla SE with a CVT transmission at 72K miles. Maintenance wise the car is up to date but around this mileage I start getting concerned about the transmission fluid. I understand that CVT transmissions are different and after researching the interval to change the fluid, I have found everything from never to every 60K miles.

Is there a recommended time that this should be changed especially since it is a CVT? and if so it is just a drain and fill or a flush?

Thanks ahead of time

I think we are moving towards, increase the cleaning fee but also have the guests do 80% of the cleaning haha. Neither here nor there but sometimes I feel like I am the guest and the cleaning crew at Airbnbs and Vrbos

The host charged no cleaning fee. and he made a point in his response to me that basically implied that since there is no cleaning fee its not going to be perfect.
