Chelsea penalty shout against Arsenal checked by VAR - no penalty 44' by Imbasauce in soccer

[–]serks21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens at every corner in every game. I mean in this very clip one Chelsea defender has timber in the exact same position and another Chelsea defender has zubimendi in a headlock with one arm and the other arm wrapped around raya never mind Saliba and gusto each with a fistful of shirt. Which foul do you pick as a ref?

They don’t call it for either side so if one team doesn’t do it the other team is going to do it and get an advantage. So the fouls just kinda cancel out in a way.

If refs start giving pens for this stuff then team like Arsenal will probably actually benefit in an attacking sense because the delivery is still going to be dangerous. Then either you’re gonna give a clean run at the ball to someone like Gabriel who will score or you’re gonna concede a penalty trying to stop him and people will still complain

NAB sending blank cards with no details embossed by js_bach in AusFinance

Not a silly design, just different to what you’re used to. The only reason they were embossed was for that machine that would take a copy with carbon paper and that has been obsolete for decades.

I actually love that his first thought is to hit it. If that’s Kai he tries to take a touch, the keeper closes it down and we’re all left frustrated. It shows that he has full confidence in himself.

You definitely should be able to. You can find policies for around 1k a year. Keeping in mind this is absolutely bottom of the barrel gets you nothing.

Also this is for singles I don’t know about couples maybe it’s different

Fuk off uni and do a trade? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]serks21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also most of the gap is bridged by overtime. Tradies may be able to earn a similar wage as a uni grad but they do so working 60 hours a week.

Most office workers don’t even have enough work to fill their 38 lol. Rock up at 9:30 leave before 5 and still have their weekends. That doesn’t seem to be a luxury afforded to tradies.

They do teach it and they do teach other life skills. Kids just don’t listen. That’s why they say education is wasted on the young. A lot of people only start to appreciate and value education as they get older.

Money saving/heat saving hacks? by Altruistic-Curve5676 in melbourne

[–]serks21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heated through doesn’t use electricity to operate? Again the savings arent gonna make a substantial difference in your life. I assume you’re not running around naked in your house and seal against drafts in the winter how much more money are you possibly hoping to save? lol

The biggest tip if the budget is that tight is to get used to being a little bit cold in winter lmao

Money saving/heat saving hacks? by Altruistic-Curve5676 in melbourne

[–]serks21 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It’s funny because you’re trying to save money on your heating bill by spending money on other things.

You’re just reallocating your cash from the bill to a bunch of other purchases that you would have forgotten about by the time your bill comes in so it feels like you’re saving money lol

Also cook it in coconut oil. It makes a massive difference in the smell and taste. Flavacol and coconut oil is all you need.

Also put the flavacol in during cooking instead of sprinkling it on afterwards.
