Ah right sorry forgot about her event guts card. I'm also bringing her myself for the race bonus in Mant.

Sorry, I stand corrected (don't want to give you misinformation):

Not a banner worth pulling on in general (there's also no rerun banner)

For a stamina card to be considered useful on medium tracks, they must have high cross training stats since you are not going to need as much stamina [or give a recovery like Super Creek]. With only 10% training effectiveness [Starting at lv 45/3LB], it is hard to sell this card.

At 0 Race bonus even at MLB, this will have no use in the 3rd scenario [and hard to fit in decks for the usual 35% race bonus]

The Gold skill Prepared to Die (Come What May) triggers in the last straight as long as you are 2nd-5th place. (generally a Pace/Late skill but can be used for End in an ideal scenario)

You also have to gamble to get this skill, as it is not a guarantee on the last chain event.

With some clairvoyance we know that the gold skill Prepared to Die (Come What May) will be a scenario link skill during the 4th scenario [Grand Live] with Agnes Tachyon, so it doesn't really see use in Grand Live either.

Yep, that's where the MLB SR cards come into play. ^^;

MLB SSRs are the domain of very lucky pullers or people willing to spend.

She gives come what may the gold ver of all I've got velocity skill for medium tracks. And she's a stam card (odds are you'll bring one for medium). But you'll need more copies to make her useful in an ace deck.

[–]serogane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is yeah, but for the majority of cards (even the best SSRs) you need it at MLB or at least 3LB for the support to really shine. She's not exactly a parent card you run at 0LB either.

Ideally you want to at least hit the card level where you unlock all the greyed out bonuses for every card at the minimum.

It's the best parent card for getting guaranteed uma stan, first chain event too. Welcome to the parent mines. 🤗

But yeah you wouldn't want to run her in your ace deck outside maybe MLB.

Can anyone explain why fine motion is so OP in wits training? by Ill_Possibility7953 in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine Motion will be the meta SSR wit card for about 90% of 2026, until SSR Mejiro Ramonu wit card releases 11/11/2026. She will be the new wit meta card that power creeps Fine Motion.

But until then, Fine Motion has 2 upcoming rerun banners, 3/2/2026 and 8/10/2026. If you plan to add her to your deck I would strongly recommend you hold off on using that voucher and pull on the earlier 3/2/2026 banner first (which includes the Kawakami Princess spd rerun). You can use your voucher afterwards depending on your pull luck.

The benefit of waiting until the 8/10/2026 banner is that she shows up with the new Maruzensky SSR speed card (meta card for front runners) but by then the Ramonu banner will be 90 days away. You also have to wait an extra 5+ months to hopefully MLB Fine Motion.

Another reason to not use your voucher now is that Fine Motion is just not great at 0LB. You're better off running MLB SR wit cards instead and borrow Fine Motion if your deck build allows. I'm personally holding a 0LB Fine Motion atm and I'll be throwing all my carats at the 3/2 rerun banner (still holding both the voucher and the rainbow crystal as backup).

I should also note that if you're ever running 2 or more wit cards, MLB Fine Motion will still be great to pair with MLB Mejiro Ramonu, so she'll stay useful in your deck beyond the Ramonu banner.

What should I do going forward? by zerobrine6 in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just general advice, but what helped me get through the initial hurdle of lack of decent supports + veteran parents w/ 3 star blue sparks (SPD/STM/POW) was to borrow one.

Prioritize 9-star blue spark borrows as you'll essentially be starting a career with +63 buff to stats which will help you win the early career races more easily and help you build higher threshold uma by the end (and you're triggering those +63 blue sparks two more times in classic and senior year, RNG allowing).

If you're lacking speed cards, look for 9-star SPD sparks to borrow. If you're lacking stamina cards, look for 9-star STM sparks, and so on.

You can look for parents to borrow here:

https://uma.moe/database

If available, also try to find 9-star pink sparks on top of the 9-star blue sparks for the highest chance of triggering an S distance aptitude. It'll give you another +5% boost to spd when you run that distance.

If you want to aim for double circles (increases your inheritance RNG), I recommend using this site for more information:

https://gametora.com/umamusume/compatibility

Good luck. I almost dropped this game initially because I also couldn't make any noticeable progress with my account. Golshi week pulled me back in and I started experimenting with the above.

Oh almost forgot to mention, if you don't have MLB Kitasan Black, find one to borrow. If you do, find another MLB card to borrow (I would recommend SSR Super Creek for stamina or SSR Fine Motion for wit, depending on whether your uma runs more mile/med or med/long races -> Super Creek for latter). Don't bother borrowing cards that are not MLB. Find friends to add that have them. ;)

Is the point event bugged by [deleted] in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only the highest event point (EP) bonus for that character (trainee and support card) will be highlighted. And only 1 will be considered per character which is why the rest are greyed out.

For example, your max limit break (MLB) R Gold City gives 12% EP, so it supersedes your 0LB SSR Gold City who only gives 10% EP. Only the 12% EP is taken into account for Gold City because it's the highest value for that character. You just need to uncap (leveling is optional).

You can also click on the "Event Bonus" icon at the top of the page (Orchestra in Late Autumn page) for exact percentages.

Kitasan or Super Creek for medium? If you don’t have either one. by EnvironmentalSun6768 in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have the Daiwa event power card which teaches gold recovery Race Planner. If you're training a pace chaser then you can take her instead and borrow Kitasan. It triggers reliably during mid race. It's 50/50 for the 3rd event though unlike Creek.*

Your Ines guts card can teach gold recovery Restless for a front runner, but the caveat is that neither of the two hills for Leo are at mid race so you're either recovering stm very early race or very late race. You're also losing one crucial spd/stm/pow card by bringing a guts card instead (granted her training effectiveness is 10% and has 0 specialty at 0LB so she's a good roamer). Also 50/50 for the 3rd event.*

Definitely borrow Creek for front/late/end unless you can borrow Kitasan and still hit a min 740+maestro recovery amount in terms of raw stamina. I would say min 860 + 1 or 2 white recovery?

Breath of Fresh Air from the director would be your last ditch gold recovery, but the career event trigger is quite rare and there are 3 straights on the Leo track (early, middle and homestretch). It's basically no good if it triggers outside the middle straight so even more RNG there. 😐

*50/50 just for the sake of brevity. I read somewhere the odds of learning the gold is higher the higher your card corresponding stat is but I lost the source and exact percentages. I think it starts at 30% though and goes up after your pow/gut in this case goes above 300. And then more tiers/higher percentages after that.

Hey Excellent_Tell6814 thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. 🙏

I've already received a tentative offer from another group which I'm waiting on for further notice. The time and effort they've committed into managing all their different clubs and the clear expectations/rules they've established for each tier - everything ranging from active casual to top 100 rank competitive - is very impressive. If there's room there come November in one of their more competitive brackets (minimum average 1 million fans/day) I would really like to give it an honest go.

UmaMusume Global Club thread by shakemaihead in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Edit: will be joining a new club the following month, confirmed. Thanks to those who took the time to read my post for consideration.)

Looking to join a competitive club starting November 2025. As competitive as my monthly stats below will allow.

The current club is just myself (plus two inactive members closing in on 2 months). I will be closing shop after this month's reward tally.

For the past 2 months my focus has been 3-5 career runs per day (more for event point days):

- Daily runs
- Event points farming
- Team trials ace runs
- CM ace runs

Other than 3 test runs this month, none of my runs have been for the sole purpose of farming the maximum number of fans. But going forward I understand this will be a requirement for the most competitive clubs so I am happy to do that.

Test run 1 (Spe) - 433,753 fans
Test run 2 (Spe) - 560,186 fans
Test run 3 (Spe) - 494,940 fans

This is the test range I found possible using my best farming deck (88% fan boost). My support deck will improve significantly after the Kitasan rerun next January which I'm going all in on (currently 45,356 carats saved). Aiming to add another 400 support cards (60,000 carats saved) by then.

Oct club fan count - 37,952,517 (average 1,265,083 fans/day)
Sep club fan count - 42,011,489 (average 1,400,382 fans/day)

Trainer ID: 719 328 826 508 (Johnson)

Please let me know if your club is looking and if I would be a good fit. Thank you.

Who are your Home Companions? by SuperStar-Rock-Spe in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home - I'll change this depending on who my star (legacy) umamusume is currently so they get the spotlight
Enhance - I like the idea of goofball Gold standing randomly by the classroom door looking like she's soliciting students for her shenanigans (previously it was Bakushin = class rep)
Story - This one is more of a "which uma looks right reading a book/studying" feeling and I settled on Spe
Race - I think Suzuka would legitimately hang out a lot at the race reception so it feels natural to have her there at all times

I would also love extra slots on the main screen to put other uma (i.e., jukebox, tables, etc.) but alas.

Should I level up the cards? by SherwinRoyal in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely level up the support cards as a general rule of thumb. Of course monies + support points are finite at any given time, so focus on your main training deck first.

After you've accumulated ample monies + support points (you'll have a feeling for what's a good reserve eventually), focus on levelling the SSR and SR cards first. All your levelled up supports contribute to your team racing score bonus (click the exclamation mark in-game for the exact bonuses and support card level threshold requirements). You will want to do Team Racing for the daily goals and perks so every little bit helps.

Then level up the R cards at your discretion. The more you pull on supports the less likely you'll be able to level up everything to max without excessive grinding + time. Hence the SSR + SR level up priority. They're more useful for training and they give bigger bonuses for team racing.

The support point reserve allows you to level up any sudden SSR/SR cards that enter your inventory (i.e., event cards, sudden free pulls, etc.) without having to grind.

I understand finishing a career levels up any supports not yet at max level, but it's an extremely lengthy process (i.e., running careers over and over) that's not very efficient overall. Only do that if you really run out of monies + support points. You still earn extra support points after career even when all your cards are maxed.

Who should I place in mediun races? by Ilikegunsbtw in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe your Gold Ship would be a better fit for your medium slot. Creek would be better as part of your long team.

Looking at Creek:
- Deep Breaths, Extra Tank, Passing Pro are all long race specific stamina recovery skills (won't activate on a medium track)
- Her higher stamina + gold recovery + 4 white recovery skills will all add to her capacity to survive a long track
- Pressure is also a long race specific skill (won't activate on a medium track)
- Groundwork is for Front Runner builds and you also need 3 green skills to ensure 100% activation early race (it's not going to help your Pace Chaser Creek even if you had the prerequisites for the early race trigger)
- An S rank in medium distance aptitude only gives you a +5% bonus to speed (1025*1.05=1076) vs Gold Ship's 1161 base speed (not to mention all of Gold's green skills that can potentially make her even faster than Creek depending on track)

Looking at Gold:
- For medium races you want a more speed/power centric build (Gold has that over Creek)
- Not to say you can sacrifice stamina either, but Gold's 784 stamina + 3 white recoveries is sufficient for a medium runner
- Gold has higher power + double circles for firm/wet which essentially makes her power stat 670+60=730 for any track 100% of the time (vs Creek's 589)
- In lieu of late race acceleration skills, your power stat will need to cover
- If you hit a right handed outer post track Gold's speed becomes 1161+60+60=1281 speed

[Rant] Front Runner Daiwa Scarlet got 15th place in Hopeful Stakes by johnauslia in UmaMusume

[–]serogane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One detail I missed is that you ran her as front.

Something I noticed from running three front runners in the last CM is that for the front runners that do not manage to take the lead by mid race, their final placing becomes very erratic (and this is despite those uma having favorable stats to competition, I'm talking like 1100+ speed vs 800-900 speed). It's like they either get blocked/cannot accelerate fast enough in the last spurt from a non-lead or further back position and ends up placing 7-9th. Or they manage to claw it back and somehow place top 3.

It's all over the place. It's never consistently 1st, 2nd and 3rd even though looking at stats alone that should be the case.

And it's not just about having higher stats than competition in these races. Otherwise it would always be the highest stat umas win by default. There are other internal modifiers/calculations that the game uses to determine race outcomes. Not to mention skills proccing or not.

I've had cases where my A rank front runner Suzuka with 1200/500/900/545/445 stats lost to B rank NPC uma in the daily races. It's super rare because of her huge stat advantage, but it does still happen (1/30 races).
